I have but I have a feeling you really do not understand what it really is and how it works and more importantly how it relates to the discussion the grownups are having. In case you are not aware the world economy has dramatically shrunk in the last 18 months and for the 5 years before that the increase in world wealth has been based on nothing more than credit and has not expanded on a global basis for a decade or so and has shown only localized expansion. Next, this expansion has not I repeat has not increased the number of researchers available in fact the number of researchers is in a deficit that is only growing, in other words there is not enough researchers to go around. NIH grants have not kept up pace either.

You're describing a zero sum game: dollars spent on breast cancer research (although men can get breast cancer) are dollars taken from prostate cancer.

No genius I was using the two types of cancer as an example. I made no statement at all on what the funding levels should be. The only thing I said was that when a dollar is spent on x that is a dollar not being spent on y. So when supporters of x receive a dollar supporters of y are being directly screwed by the other group.

It is my money being spent genius along with other mens money. Don't you know its men that pay the most in taxes and yet we receive less in benefits. The stimulus bill for example despite the economy mostly effecting men and their jobs goes disproportionately to women.

Why would anyone every accuse feminist of misandry I will never know. Well this is nice and all it ignores reality where there are definitive zero sum games. There is only x amount of dollars and educational resources out there so every time a program is created that targets girls it is hurting boys who are behind. Every time a dollar is spent on breast cancer research that is a dollar that is not being spent on prostate cancer that kills a similar number each year when breast cancer already has an over 7 to 1 funding advantage. Child custody is a perfect example of this, 50/50 is the best that can be accomplished yet the ratio is more like 85/15 in favor of mothers. So to a divorced father he is getting most screwed by family court and his ex not by the "elites".
