Cheney's VW Bug Story
[Read the article: Dick Cheney and the grassy knoll]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Kind of reminds me of the Ted Kennedy mishap whereby he waited overnight to get the story right. Sheila Burke , Eagle River, Alaska

Cheney's VW Bug Story
[Read the article: With no word from Cheney, "The Daily Show" stands in]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]even my right wing eighty year old parents enjoyed this take. How on earth do you guys do it?

kids
[Read the article: Open adoption, broken heart]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Being the parent of nineten and twenty year old sons I applaud and respect the decision of Jessica to have her wee girl adopted. Some of my boy's friends have given birth in their youth and the struggles and parenting are what one would expect of kids having babies. Madison is one lucky child and as emotionally complicated as it must be for all involved you are all lucky.

Nonsense
[Read the article: The happy hypocrite]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]We, of the generation who attempted to enhance equal rights for women simply strove for just that: equal rights for women. The majority of states voted against that. This ridiculous so called battle between stay at home moms and working moms is such a distraction. Why do women buy into it? One can do it all if in fact they have a partner or spouse who is in fact a partner. Eagle River, Alaska

Blumenthal
[Read the article: The passion of George W. Bush]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Bush would probably not know the definition of martyr much less be able to use it in a sentence. i find it hard to believe he has made one decision, policy or otherwise . Do you really believe that he, not Cheney made the decision to not fire Rumsfield? he is truly a vile being in that he has no interest in the ramifications of his abdication of his power to this group of incompetent and sociopathic thugs.

Say It Aint So Joe
[Read the article: Bush the reckless]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hey Joe, I guess the Democrats missed this speech or perhaps endorse it. Hard to tell. Do you think they read Salon? I s'pose you are friends with DAOU (as in the Daou Report) but are you as demoralized as most of us who carre about the future that he sold out to H. Clinton? Do you guys know how reviled she is? I am not talking a Kerrylike frustration ...she will keep people, dems and independents alike from the polls. You guys neee new blood from outside the beltway or outside the hallways of the powers that be. Anyway, I love your succint and cut to the quick comments. Thanks. Sheila Burke, Eagle River, Alaska

Whoedom in D.C,
[Read the article: Hillary is us]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I believe the Republicans are enthusiastically pushing Hilary's nomination because they know she is absolutely unelectable. She is merely a right wing republican in her democratic clothing. I could never vote for her...it would be the same as voting for John MaCain. They not only stand for nothing they legislate evil. Six hundred and fifty thousand, that'six hundred and fifty thousand Iraqi citizens slaughtered and not a friggin' peep out of her. Russ Feingold or Al Gore need to get on with their campaigns now. Oh and to call her a feminist disgraces feminists. Sheila Burke

Objective Reporting
[Read the article: Hillary is us]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is it a coincidence that the " Editor's Favorite's postings are all adamantly pro Hillary? (while most of the fifty others are adamantly against her) And that one of your prominent staff members now works for the Hillary Clinton campaign ? How dissapointing

NOTA
[Read the article: The first annual Capitol Hill roast]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What about Howard Dean? He go crucified for having independent opinions.

Republicans
[Read the article: The GOP hides from Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]These people are whores. They have not a thought of the troops dying in Baghdad. They are not "conservatives" in any sense of the definition. The people who voted for them deserve them. In Alaska anyone who has an "R" by their name is elected. Alaskans don't give a crrap about the corruption of Stevens, Murkowski or Don Young. They are Republicans and that is all that matters. Even though their rank arrogance, stupididy and corruption (crimes) are plastered over the Anchorage Daily News. So how do we deal with that? Eagle River, Alaska

Theft
[Read the article: Bush makes nice, but Dick is still a killer]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Cheney was actually speaking the truth when he said the war and occupation are successful. He, his wife, his daughters, sons - in law and girlfriends have made tens of millions of dollars if not billions on war profiteering. Read on Tuesday's Huffington Post the article by Larissa Alexandrove re: the Cheney's . It is in response to Liz Cheney's editorial published in the Washington Post about why the war is good and must go on.

Letter Writers On Steroids
[Read the article: Real inconvenient truths]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The so called readers questions to Paglia are a bit much to be believed. I have rarely if ever seen five paragraph queries in response to an article. All of the responses appear to be written by the same person. Please, why on earth would you let her do this? Disgusting.

ABCC/Ben Alpers
[Read the article: The unresolved story of ABC News' false Saddam-anthrax reports]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Great point about Richard Cohen (the ho). I see Hillary Clinton in the same light which is why I believe the MSM is promoting her candidacy. It seems to me that if I small business owner inAlaska) was suspicious of the anthrax scare as just one more Cheney/Rove strategy to get us to agree to invade a third world country (at the time of the reports) that there is no justification for the reporters to claim that they were responding to real fears at that time. Sheila Burke, Alaska
