the flaming of the shrew

Obama won NC by 225,000 votes. Of course, to Kate and Shawn, those don't count. Darkies, you know. Hill, if she hangs on by her bloody fingernails like Lady McBeth, will win by about 20,000 votes. He will gain dozens more pledged delegates tonight than she will. Only the bitter core of the unripe fruit that is Klintoonia keep whizzing into a stiffening breeze. No matter. Let's go on, let the last states vote, and confirm what we've known for months: she's a loser. She took an insurmountable lead, name recognition no money could buy, and she was whipped in every possible way by what his detractors call a rookie. The Natural was a rookie, too. She's done. The pop up timer in her pantsuit has popped.

I'm with you all the way. Democrat, all the way down the line. But Kate and Real are sworn enemies. She got her widdle feelings hurt, so if a few thousand, or tens of thousands, of americans die in a vain war because she and her type hold their breath and turn blue, or vote McCain, I guess that's the price you pay for being small minded. It's been a tough campaign. Hillary is swimming against a current not entirely of her own making. But, tonight, two state's worth of Americans voted, and Obama got about 220, 000 more than she did. 233K win in NC, and Hill's lead in Ind. is now at 16K and falling. The delegate divisions will reflect those numbers, and her insurmountable task will have gotten moreso. Does she have the right to fight on? Absolutely. Will it avail her anything? No. Will it aid McCain? Very possibly. She doesn't care. It's about her.

Beaver Leavings

I've been happily married since long before you were emitted from whatever life form is responsible for your incandescent existence. What a lucky planet. I only thank God I've lived long enough to see your brilliance, even dimmed by the intercession of a keyboard. In one of my professions, I used to review resumes of self-congratulatory egomaniacal applicants, all degrees and zero heat. As far as dating, let's both be glad that the time continuum prevented any such mutually repellent train wreck. You wouldn't have given me the time of day; I'd have made certain of that. Happy gnawing.

the ficus vote

yes, a houseplant would be at just the right intelligence level to think billary can come back from the ass kicking she took tonight. she's down more than 150 pledged delegates, and the only state of any size remaining, Oregon, is Obama country. You know: educated voters. He's up by about ten, and that'll be about the size of his victory. A sane woman with regard for her party and her country would pack it in and support our nominee. She'll string it out, bleeding Obama at every turn, hoping McCain will win, die in office, and she can be the comeback shrew in 2012. By then, the supreme court will be fascist for two decades, the war will have gone on another four years with another few thousand dead young Americans. But, hey, it's all about Hillary. She's a woman, you know. Not a lady, by any means, but, biologically, a woman. What an achievement.

pathblunder, neocon troll

you're a McCain pimp, pathblunder. Drop the pretense. Billary's lending herself another six mil 'cause her rich fascist friends are tapped out. She's 20 delegates further behind than she was yesterday. The Florigan/Michida meme is long since dead; she won mock primaries in which no one campaigned, and which were, very properly, not sanctioned under the rules the other 48 states followed. Tough shit. She's done.

barren beaver

My BA is from the University of California, at a time it was rated the best university in the country. I still think the degree was a clerical error, but I'm not giving it back. That was 40 years ago. Yes, I have daughters, and sons, and grandchildren. I'm sure none of that is in your barren future; it would get in the way of mindless acquisitiveness and relentless self interest. Buy things. Surround yourself with trinkets and sycophants. All that pretense and ego bloat must be hard to carry around. Have your personal trainer help you with that. May your materialism bring you exactly what it brings anyone with that view of life: a big bankroll and and empty soul.

yes, there are two candidates remaining in the race. One has essentially won the nomination. the other is funneling her own wealth into her flagging campaign to prop up her inflated ego and forestall the inevitable. The Michida/Florigan horsecrap is typical Clinton. When she was the presumptive nominee, she agreed that those states, unlike the other 48, did not comply with DNC rules and the results were null and void. Now that she's grasping at any straw, with utter disregard for what it might do to the party's chances in November, she's pissing and moaning about the poor disenfranchised voters of those two delinquent states. Hey, sistah, if you can't stand the heat get out of the election.

kilroy was stupid

voters is not possessive, moron. and what citation have you for the scurrilous characterization of Obama voters? I thought they were either poor darkies or rich white latte sippers. What's up"?

drug damage

Tush Fatblob, oxy-moron, massive abuser of hillbilly heroin, bleats soundbites and his sheep follow. no democrat should be giving the SOB the time of day. Ever. And the same goes for Fuxxsnooze. PIty both of our candidates caved and went on that defacto outlet of the neocon sewer.

mr. sugarman

I agree. I'd no idea he'd get this far. Part of me fears for his life if he gains a significant lead in the polls come October. Living through '68 gave me that knot in the stomach, but I still believe this country can turn toward its destiny as the last best hope of earth.

typhoid billary

no one wants to catch what she's got: the creeping death, the denial flu, the rich bitch itch.
