Obama doesn't have a vagina, so he can't convince you. One of the more virulent forms of sexism is women who want equal treatment- which they merit, in every way- and then cry foul when the game is played on an even field. Hillary got trounced. Oh, you'll say, restating the screamingly obvious, the race is very close. It wasn't. She had double digit leads everywhere, coast to coast. He beat her, playing by the rules, understanding how to organize, fund raise from the grassroots in a way that had never been done- not even close- and now you all want to count bogus non events from MIchigan and Florida, and claim that West Virginnie is a bellweather. Horse manure. the Billbot postulate, that the primary is the mother to the general election, is laughable. See Presidents Mondale, Gore, and Kerry for examples. apparently, you've very young or very dense. Politics does involve vision and altruism, as it should, but it is the art of the possible. Obama saw what was possible and went out and took it from her. IT's not her fault. IT's not her time. and all this feminist crap about the world changing with female leadership need to check English royalty history, or, if you cotton to democracies, Thatcher, Ghandi, Bhutto, Golda Meir and then tell me how much more peaceful and benificent those countries were simply because the head of state had different plumbing. the premise has been tried, and it's utterly false.

congratulations, and my deep gratitude, for you words of wisdom. Hillary is, in many ways, a remarkable person, and many of her advocates here do her no justice. You have done so, and with brevity and clarity. I, too, entered this primary season with a well of good well for Ms. Clinton, or Rodham, or whatever she chooses to call herself, to draw against. She has run an inept, mismanaged, unprincipled campaign, and, she being the candidate, must take responsibility for the whole ugly stinking sink. She has time, even yet, to recapture a measure of honor. the next two to three weeks will tell. If she drags michigan and florida into the courts, and stages a bitter, prolonged floor fight at the convention, she will be forever ruined, and Obama will stand a good chance of losing to Bush Three. Whatever our other differences, we must coalesce to prevent that from taking place. You're a leader, Hillary? Show us.

something could happen? maybe a non bosnian sniper? nothing can stop him from the nomination. she threw up, literally, the kitchen sink, and the shit hit her, not the fan. dream on. or are you advocating a darker solution? for those of us who lived through 1968 as adults, your perhaps unintentionally ominous wording conjures evil. Less evil than "hard working white people", but, still I think you imply more than you mean. I think, from your past posts, you are a good hearted person. But "something might happen" has an uneasy ring to it. What, another Wright tape"? Obama admitting to drug use as a youth? What then? What will happen? You're wrong. Her time is over. His time is come.

Original article: NARAL endorses Obama

you have an opinion and a sphincter. one of each, like everyone. congratulations. to call Edwards, who has spent his life defending the defenseless and who's done more to address the "two Americas" issue than any one else, both the finalists included, a weenie shows you don't know a dick from a donut. He was the true populist in the original field, but the media wanted the brother v the bitch because it made great tee vee. His endorsement seals what was already billary's fate: loser. She took the low road, and ended up on the low end. tough shit.

well. so you've been through elections since 1964, and you still don't get it. We've ceded the working class vote since Nixxon, then solidifies by raygun, and you still want to ride the same lame horse. Hillary is deep center establishment, as DC as you can get. Because she's a woman that's supposed to change things? If you think that, dense is a compliment. Change of a real, basic, tidal way is forty years overdue. She is not the agent of that change. She wants to relive the nineties, which are only decent if you compare them with the wreckage Bush has wrought. Is she better than George? By miles. Does that matter? No. Winning in November is all that counts now. She has not a snowballs chance in Washington of getting the nomination. The country comes first. I wanted Edwards. That won't happen. Will I threaten to hold my breath until I turn blue, or vote McCain, or sit on a spindle? No. I will vote Democratic in November, period. If you differ, fine, If you vote otherwise, you won't have to have my wish to go to hell. You'll be there shortly.

Vote McCain, big mama. You were all along. Vote for fascism, four more years of war and a chasm between the ultra rich and the rest of us. Your heil salute is showing again. What a loser.
