Actually

looking at photos of Matt Damon, his face is kind of squished together, his chin is pixieish and his forehead big.

I take that back, I look BETTER than him, if slightly, by virtue of being a bit better proportioned in the face.

IF

it is true that our so called leaders reflexively and conclusively ALWAYS consider the 'people' the ENEMY of the government, then it stands to reason that therefore the government will always pursue a strategy of attempting to clarify and simplify the playing field between itself and the 'people'.

As such, using martial terms such as "Commander in Chief" may have the effect of galvanizing in people's minds, over the long term, the marriage of government and military.

I am sure, given people look at other aspects of the government, that we can find many things that the government encourages that likewise attempt to marry governing with warfare. Endless and stable and secretive warfare against the populace, but warfare it is nonetheless-- and if the 'people' are not aware of the war, so much the better.

I was told, when I was younger, that the gold fringe on the American flags in courts and government buildings was a symbol first attached to the flags in the 1930s as a sign that the United States was in a state of martial law, the government against the people.

I do no know if this is the case, but certainly the US government engages in all sorts and types of covert wars against the US populace: The WAR on drugs, the WAR on poverty (what would YOU call it when the government is engaged in keeping the black community down?), the WAR the big pharma and food industries engage in by feeding us untested potions and chemicals, the WAR against those who think or worship differently (Ruby Ridge, Waco), the covert CIA mind control WARS (Jim Jones)-- the list goes on.

This is the best, most profitable sort of war. Notice, Europe does not have this problem. The food in Europe is not tainted with adulterating ingredients of questionable safety, drugs and prostitution are treated as potential elements to be controlled and allowed rather than as cudgels against the poor, the media in Europe (irony of ironies) actually TELLS you what side it is on politically and actually REPORTS what is going on(!), police are not engaged in burning to death people they view as cultists.

Anyway, a few thoughts.

To even complain about this in this manner

is not right.

What you are saying is that women are above criticism. I bet you also believe women should be treated as equals.

Yet the irony of holding these two opposing beliefs eludes you (really, I don't think it does, just that women ALWAYS try to get away with chicanery).

Men are hanged in effigy. Women should be TOO. (or NEITHER should, but that is another issue altogether)

Women were supposedly burned as witches. SO WERE MEN.

GET OVER IT.

Geez! And women want to be considered honest, fair and trustworthy?!??

I've been in San Francisco most of this week

and all I hear on the radio are ads for Proposition This and Proposition That. God, this state has money to waste.

But really, I am against Prop 8, even if the 'word' marriage bothers me in the context of gays, they should still have rights accorded to straights.

Speak of San Fran, I hadn't realized that I had walked right by the Salon.com headquarters this last Wednesday. I'd been over at the Ferry Terminal, looking for locally made food gift items to take back to Texas but did not know you guys were right up the street from there. Shoot! Id've stopped by and said HI if I'd known.

Too bad...

Original article: Racists for Obama

It comes down to several things

A. People have seen enough examples of smart blacks-- Colin Powell, Bill Cosby, Will Smith, many major American city mayors-- to know there are smart blacks and dumb blacks.

B. You cannot get rid of all racism. Unfortunately, all too many blacks even today milk the system for all it is worth. Some poor whites do it too, but it is undeniable that the blacks are more visible-- urban, louder and brasher and more defiant, representing a larger proportion of their society, and with a negative lifestyle they continue to actively glorify thru the media.

I look at the example of South America, where slavery was far more prevalent, but the blacks there do not have this ongoing simmering resentment like they do in America. It is opportunism as much as anything.

Boortz is tollish

he makes these weird, dramatic proclamations, then backfills them with dubious factoids to try to prop them up.

the play is cute at first but gets tired after a while, which is probably why Boortz is considered a second tier radio provocateur.

The model is hot

is this GPS so that the relative velocity of the two independently bouncing breasts can be accurately tracked in real time?

Feminists ought to really worry

Cruise missiles can be aimed to within 18 inches when they have GPS tracking data emanating from the target.

I had heard

someone had cut open a pomegranate and right there, inside the pomegranate, was a perfect silhouette of Obama!

And he had a tear on his cheek.

I'd pay to see a toddler uttering certain phrases

like..

"I'll put my fist through you, beeee-otch."

and

"YO! suck my diaper."
