For eight years the right has abridged, weakened and abolished many of the longstanding tenets of American democracy, such as habeas corpus, the right to meaningful protest, etc.

I too am scared of the New World Order progression Obama will most definitely usher in. He will likely put new laws into place abolishing people's right to own firearms, he will likely push for more socialist/communistic laws designed to turn the US into EuropePlus.
