As you probably know, Jung believed in astrology, spiritualism, telepathy, telekinesis, clairvoyance and ESP. Not all truths are scientific, however
Astrology? You mean there is no change in effects upon Earth by the motions of the other bodies in our solar system? How are you so sure? It is already proven fact that the sun's output changes over time, affecting the Earth's atmosphere, and, in turn affecting the very behavior of biological systems on Earth. The moon-- tides. More crimes at full moon. This is PROVEN. Common science, with its overreliance on breaking down systems to their simple constituents, seems more and more not to account for the interrelations among systems. Gravity, inertia, magnetism, energy, rotation, are all factors in the movements of the planets. That it has not been studied in detail by scientists as of yet, as if they know where to even begin, does not mean there is no interreaction or interference or change occurring on the Earth's surface as a result. Now, if Jung thought he had the answers as to what the systems did, that is another issue, but to dismiss blithely the whole affair betrays your own lack of discernment.
Telepathy? Intriguing studies have proven over and over that when one is distracted rather than focused on an image, the proportion of correct guesses as to the image on a card changes by someone seated in another room.
Telekinesis? Clairvoyance? ESP? Again, interesting studies being done. The human brain puts out dozens of watts of electromagnetic energy out to twenty or more feet. Again, just because scientists have not broken down all the effects and systems and interrelation s of these systems, does not mean there is no possibility that telekinesis, or other exotic effects are not possible. Everyone has 'felt' when someone was staring at them. Random number generators on coomputers seem to de-randomize when focused one.
Here is one that you would NEVER believe and for which NO model exists YET. But this IS a reality. Scientists in the late 1990s set up several dozen computers around the world. They ran a program to generate random numbers on each machine and compared to results. RIGHT BEFORE traumatic events, such as 9/11, all the machines DE-randomized to some extent. Implying that the world grid of electromagnetic energy is connected AND that the human mind is collectively somehow connected to it, and WEIRDER YET, that it somehow anticipates bad events rather than FOLLOWING THEM. the same effect happened right before Princess Di's untimely death and during other events, including, I am presupposing, the unprecedented stock market breakdown this past week. As I stated, scientists do not even know where to BEGIN to develop a cogent model of what is going on that will not get them laughed out of every so called academic institution on the planet, but there it is, REALLY OCCURRING and recorded.
Just pointing out what I already believe, that the more schooling people receive, the less open their minds are, to the detriment of TRUE science AS IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE PRACTICED.
TCF's statement seemed to say that teens own their own bodies so should be able to do what they want with them, as in taking nude pics and sending them to people. My point was that if you really feel that way, couldn't the exact same argument be used against age of consent laws? If a teen owns his/her own body and can do with it what he/she pleases, why can't he/she have sex with it?
They don't have to think. They're feminists.
Don't you know? Dworkin and the others have already determined what the younger generation of women should think. This way the younger generation is spared from the work of actually THINKING.
You best get out of their way. There is hell to pay if you have not drunken the kool-aid of feminism already. You might be spared though if you grovel at their feet.
No--sexiness is in the heart. It's some little fire inside of you that seems to be shouting 'I like it! And I'm not ashamed!' This little flicker of pleasure in your eyes that says, 'Hm, that's interesting!' when looking at your smile. This playfulness in the eyes, in the behavior, in the soul, that comes out as a little aura surrounding the person. Being beautiful certainly doesn't hurt, it even helps a lot, but it certainly doesn't do it. The sexiest women I've seen or slept with were not the prettiest.
I want out of this country faster than EVER. I wish I was not stuck with my unsellable house and broke as a result.
Maybe in a few years I can scrounge up $100k and move to Bulgaria or some other cheap as dirt place and still experience REAL LIFE and REAL LOVE before I am too old to be taken seriously as a lover. Because sure as I am standing here, in all my years in the States, I have had only a few minor gleanings of such potential love/lust/life/mutual un-guilt-pervaded adoration.
Gee and I keep wondering why I cannot stand the sight of most American girls, with their terminal low esteem they wear so proudly and their all encompassing hatred (or just disregard of, or uncaringness toward) anyone 'male'.
