At 15% men deciding to 46% for women deciding, this makes three times as many marriages where the women decide rather than the men.

Hi! Just calling in to say it's not feminism, it's any group / ideology that has something against sex (human bodies, etc.). It's basically WASPism, Catholicism, you name it. Do you think feminists invented this holier-than-thou attitude towards scantily clad women, or towards men showing their biceps and triceps?

So what is TCF's excuse? Is it WASPism or Catholicism that is causing such articles to be written? (neither, of course, but only the sheer hatred of their dissenting sister)

And really, Catholicism elsewhere but in America does not have much of a problem with jigglies either. One need only look at Italian or Mexican teevee to see this.

Like it or not, feminism has (rightly) been branded by SOCIETY with the 'victorian prudery' letter of shame. For many reasons, regardless of where else in society there may be prudes, one of the key weapons feminists use is to jump on bandwagons such as this and to treat the body as shameful, even if they do it inadvertently.

And really, just like most feminist notions, there is a great deal of hypocrisy strewn all over the claim anyway, since much of feminism is fine with bodies being visible when it comes to other issues, such as transsexual men being able to show their body or breast feeding in public.

As a libertine, sexual and otherwise, I have no problem with skin or with sensuality or with the human desire for pleasure. I DO have a major problem with people shoving in other people's faces that there is something silly or belittling that someone can strut around showing off their own beautiful body.

If Palin was a mathematical genius who happened to have a gorgeous body, or AS in the case of the Russian world class chess player who models, would TCF or other feminists also have a problem with this? MY guess is YES, because to them, all display of the body, except when specifically allowed by the feminist masters, is profane. They are their own worst enemy, because the next logical step is for them to wrap their bodies or the bodies of their sisters in sheets, ala Saudi Arabia.

Then of course, the only change in the femi-rhetoric is that feminists begin to sell the ruse that it is the men wanting the women covered up. LOL.
