You'd think the dots would have been connected by now and action taken against the conglomerates

Nothing could be clearer than the link between the current obesity crisis, along with its attendant GENOCIDE of heart disease and diabetes, and the output of the industrial 'food' giants.

Gee, it is not rocket science that food ought to not be composed primarily of inedible chemical substances, poisonous pesticides, inedible and dangerous oils, some of the thousands of compounds that are allowed to go unlabeled into the food, genetically distorted animals and plants, and criminal amounts of sodium, colorants, and preservatives.

When you feed your body crap, what do you THINK happens? This is a diabolical death engine. Cancers are up in the past century by 14,000%. Children fresh out of the womb have diabetes and are nearly sterile.

So when does the great class action set of lawsuits begin against these criminal enterprises and against the FDA, which freely allows this abuse to occur against all 350 million Americans every day.

How much WORSE do things have to get before people wake the fuck up and punish the willful evildoers? Who the fuck is going to pay for all this medical attention being lavished on QUITE VOLUNTARY diseases of ignorance?

I'd only read a page of the comments before I felt compelled to return with some comments

Later today, I decided to read the rest of the letters. Little did I know how much worse the letters got on the third and fourth pages, and it was NOT due to the so called trolls.

As for the trolls...why do they even read Broadsheet when they despise women so much?

Why do you assume someone would despise someone else just because they criticize them? By that standard, women criticizing men means women DESPISE MEN. Either accept that conclusion or accept that male criticism of women is perfectly OK and civil.

Did you ever notice how they're always near the top of the comments? I can't begin to understand it.

Would it please you if instead the comments were near the BOTTOM? So what was your point?

While I'll read conservative sites sometimes, I generally don't post on them, and I would never post on a pro-Palin site.

Right. Everyone should be exactly like you as well. Is this what you want?

What would be the point? It would waste my time, it would change no one's mind, and it would get everyone upset.

So, nobody should try to communicate with anybody else and instead things ought to just escalate in the culture?

I know you women want things to remain the way they are because you women currently hold the upper hand in the culture. In a court of public opinion, women criticizing men is still acceptable while men criticizing women is still generally not.

You hate men because you disregard that maybe the men in the culture are or can be upset. Upset with women, upset with feminism. It is a supreme insult for you to be so selfish to think only YOUR opinions count, and only because you are female.

Ah, well, there you go. I'm not looking to get everyone upset. Trolls, by definition, are.

I have always rejected the term troll. It means nothing. It means you are too selfish and weak a human being to accept that others may have a differing opinion.

Do you really want to try to shut down meaningful discussion by using all sorts of unsavory tactics?

Do you understand that men have a million ways in which to passive aggressively fight back? Is this what you aspire to? Less understanding between the sexes?

Only the power of the velvet fist of females is all that the culture should follow? Everything else be damned?

It is all of this ubiquitous attitude among you women that I will fight vigorously until my dying days. I resent and hate that I am considered so MARGINAL merely because I was not born into the PRIVILEGED female sex. I hate it. I hate all the trolls like you on here that want to shut down my voice and the voices of so many guys (and some girls) on here who strive every day to offer meaningful valuable commentary that deliberately and consciously avoids things like namecalling.

Most of the namecalling on here is NOT coming from those you label troll but from the very people like YOU who criticize the dissenters.

Really, I am fed up, up to HERE with the arrogance of women and feminists in general. There is NEVER any attempt on your parts to act like you are part of the human race, only as if you are sitting somewhere on a cloud, infallible and above criticism.

It breaks me to think this is what we men are up against. Your way or the highway, huh?

FUCK THAT. After ll of these years and after reading the pigheaded attitudes of women on here, I finally understand why so many men DO treat you women with disdain any moment they can. It makes PERFECT sense to me now.

At least on here, I appreciate that there is a supposedly open forum where we have a chance to say the things that upset us men that maybe are not so easily discussed in the privacy of a bedroom where the vile velvety mitt of female repression is constantly hanging over us men. You know the one, the one where we only say what we NEED to say rather than what we truly think for fear we will be rejected.

Feminism continues to deny this reality of life. sadly and terminally. Terminally for women and for feminism.

You want to be taken seriously? Begin to accept that there is not one sex and a slave sex, but two EQUAL sexes, both free and open to discuss things.
