[Read more letters about this article: Here]I've never thought that Dan Rather got a fair shake in the dust-up over whether or not GWB actually served in the Texas Air National Guard. I'm convinced he didn't. The whole mess got side-lined by the national press (including CBS) over the shameful Speedboating episode. It's high time the whole business got aired and maybe now that GWB is on the downhill slide of his reign, the media won't be in the mood to suck up to him and the Republicans.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]To find our what Patreaus and Crocker really think, we'll have to wait until they publish their memoirs after Bush and Company are out of office. I doubt the memoirs will be self-serving--at least Patraeus won't, I hope. I'm not so sure about Crocker. He'll still be looking for another (Republican) job
