  • "shooter042" is clueless

Ask any of these you quote, whether they would have been better off with Kerry. To a man/woman they will laugh in your face.

Oh, we've already established that they're partisan eedjits. The "before" quotes demonstrate that.

Now they're back-stabbing eedjits, "every man for himself and the last one off is a rotten egg" types, as well.

Some 70% of the country knows now that we'd have been better off (far better off, in fact) without Dubya. Glenn's just pointing out that even the "28 percenters" are busy with the Dolchstoßlegende, and saving their own hides.

    Cheers,

  • "shooter042" the rat jumps ship as well....

Apparently he didn't get the memo that Government is here to serve the country, not that conservatives were meant to serve him....

Hope you can swim, "shooter". ;-)

... That aside, what are you folks going to do now that you can't run against Bush?

Run against the folks that are trying to out-Dubya Dubya. You know, like the guy that wants not one, but two Guantanamos, or the guy that's going to do whatever torture he can think of, and then kick the guy in the balls for good measure afterwards, just to show he won't be as wimpy is Dubya.....

I know, I know, "shooter", this plays just fine to the atavistic Neanderthals of the Republican party, but the primary is just the first test.....

But keep on keepin'n on, "shooter" and the rest of you wingnuts. We do appreciate your efforts to keep digging.

    Cheers,

"He isn't accused of committing a crime, he is accused of lying about something that wasn't a crime to begin with. This is a partisan persecution!"

"Crime or not, we'll never know because he lied. Lying under oath is a crime in and of itself. It is an offense to the system and must be punished!"

You misstate the argument. Perjury is lying about a material fact. It doesn't have to be about some underlying crime. As per FRE Rules 412-414, any of Clinton's other (alleged) sexual behaviour wasn't admissible in a civil trial, and in fact, as per FRE Rule 403, evidence otherwise admissible may be excluded if it may produce "unfair prejudice" ... or if it's just for the purposes of embarrassing the deponent. And in fact, Judge Wright excluded all the crapola the RW panty-sniffers were trying to dig out using the power of the judiciary (and FBI).

Libby lied about material facts of concern to the investigation of whether someone violated the IIPA (or other federal laws).

And you're echoing the RW "spin machine" talking point about there being no underlying crime (because supposedly Armitage also disclosed Plame's covert status. News flash fer ya: Just because someone else commits muder doesn't get you off the hook. There could have been more than one person potentially violating the IIPA.

On another note, "crime or not" from the second quote is inapplicable to Clinton's case, as neither his behaviour with Lewinsky nor his alleged behaviour with Jones constituted a crime. Jones's lawsuit was a civil suit.

Read and learn (and I don't mean Freeperville/Clownhall/WhirledNutzDaily). It would do you some good.

These are the arguments being presented by the two sides of the corrupt system. I'm not misstating the argument. This is the argument that is being made.

Seeing as no one here said those things, and seeing as you provide no names for people who said that, I call "straw man". The only ones that I've seen put forth anything looking like this crapola have been Rethuglicans excusing their hypocrisy and 'explaining' why Scooter's ... umm, 'different'.

He [Clinton] did, in fact, lie under oath.

Arguable, but even if so, SFW? I explained this in the first reply to you. See, e.g. 18 USC § 1621 et seq..

I possessed a very low regard for GWB when I started reading your invectives, ....

"... but then I started drinking heavily, lost my job, my wife, and my dog, and have to live on the crumbs I get from infesting blogs with RNC trollery."

Just to make sure you understand my point, I use "self interest"in the literal sense of doing what is what is best for ones self, overall.

Good. Then it's settled. You will acquiesce and agree, then, when we put you in a secure medical facility until such time as you manage to come back to reality. After all, it's in your "self interest". Said deliberation and decision on our part is free of course, no charge to you. Which is also in your "self interest", if I may be so bold.

    "Food of the Gods"

That would be, in Latin, "theobromine". Which is, appropriately, the predominant stimulant (caffeine-like) alkaloid present in chocolate ... the food of the gods. ;-)

    Cheers,

P.S.: "theophylline" is "leaf of the gods", the primary such alkaloid present in tea.

Arne, You play the electric guitar? Or, a banjo, a bongo, or a slobbering hillbilly juice-harp? Any music will do...Tomorrow!...

Bit of banjo and fiddle, a dulcimer ("sweet song" in Latin and Greek melded), and autoharp. May my songs lift your heart, my good man.

    Cheers,
