[Read more letters about this article: Here]Funny how hypocrites always cry hypocrisy
Depending on CK's definition of "decent interval", I don't see any evident hypocrisy.
Uhhhh, Jack: <*Jack raises his groggy head and wheeses out some ethanol-laden fumes*> Krauthammer's comments about the terrorist videos came before his Op/Ed ranting against politicization.
There, there, you can go back to sleep now.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Say what you will. He does something. Then he criticises others for such. If you think this wasn't hypocritical, feel free to point out where he explains that a "decent interval" is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 1-2 days, and after that, all bets are off.
As Glenn explains in the post (but which passed 40,000 feet over your head):
Krauthammer concludes with the same point:
Perhaps in the spirit of Obama's much-heralded post-ideological politics we can agree to observe a decent interval of respectful silence before turning ineffable evil and unfathomable grief into political fodder.
Why make this "request" if the "decent interval" has lapsed?
And that's leaving out the inane stoopidity of trying to tie this to Islam or terrorism.
Now, you'll breathe a lot easier (and show the signs of oxygen deprevation less) if you remove your head from the caudal end of the RW Wurlitzer's rotting corpse.
Cheers,

He doesn't explain it....
I noticed. Seeing as he's (according to you) drawing such a distinction, don't you think he should?
... Do you need him to explain it? A few days seems reasonable to me, but I'm pretty reasonable.
You misspelled "a dissembling butt-sucker".
What was your understanding, that CK was requesting that we all travel back through time and handle this differently? Yes, that makes much more sense, you idiot.
No, you moron. That's your interpretation (or should we say, "straw man"?). I was pointing out that his request is prescriptive ... and it is in no way limited to only other tragedies (nor would such be logical).
Just to bring you back to within spitting distance of reality (if such is possible), here's Krauthammer's actual words, from the post:
What can be said about the Virginia Tech massacre? Very little. What should be said? Even less.
If you think you're winning converts here to your continuing illogic and prevarications, you're just as mistaken about that.
Keep flopping around in the bottom of the barrel, though. It does make it a twinge more sporting.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sadly, such an invidual has been sucked into the blackhole of movement conservative nihilistic relativism, from which an intelligent thought can longer escape.
Typo. Extra "l" there. No charge.
