[Read more letters about this article: Here]Glenn, be careful...
... you do not commit the same folly.
Ann Coulter previously expressed sorrow that Timothy McVeigh did not bomb The New York Times building, and she also called for the murder of Supreme Court Justices.
Do you honestly think Ms. Coulter, whatever her shortcomings, sincerely wanted the above to happen?
Or are you taking a couple of her statements a little too literally?
You mean she doesn't mean all the sh*te she spews about the left?!?!? What does that make her? A wh..... nevermind.
Cheers,

[Read more letters about this article: Here]One of the themes that the far-right attempts to promote in these discussions is that Liberals are angry, and when they call for death they are always serious, but when Coulter and Limbaugh do it, it’s entertainment. Liberals, you see, don’t have a sense of humor, only conservatives do.
Indeed. As we see from the new Faux "comedy" show eclipsing the feeble light of those mundane and pedestrian shows like TDS and the Colbert Report.....

[Read more letters about this article: Here]3) Anyone else note the time factor in this teacup tempest? Hannity and the prominent rightwing bloggers who scoured opponents' comments pages for vile anti-Cheney posts yesterday did so very promptly -- and when some of these sorts of posts were deleted from moderated comments sections they cried foul, complaining of "cover up" rather than legitimate moderation on the part of the blog owners.
I listened to the local RW foamer station the morning of the attack, and they were all atwitter with the HuffPo sutff. As did Hannity, from what I hear, and I'm sure Limbaugh.... They have a Mighty Wurlitzer that trumpets the latest RW meme for the day, and the cadres and hordes obediently take up the cudgel.
Glenn notes this as well. This is what they've been doing for well over a decade now, with the Arkansas Project, American Spectator, and shows like the Limbaugh show. The Swift Boating was just Rev. 2.0 of this. This is what we need to address and counter.
Cheers,

[Read more letters about this article: Here]By the way, I hope that the left is responsible for multiculturalism and the kind of religious tolerance that would allow athiests to live freely in America.
DR can't even form a correct insult anymore.
Ummm, you don't get it, Kristin: To "daleyrocks", those aren't just insults, they're a huge Scarlet Letter, and abomination to All That Is Good And Just.
Multiculturalism and atheism are what's dragging down the "U.S. as a world power". Not the fiasco in Iraq, Abu Ghraib, our torture of prisoners, and our squalid Veterans' Affairs facilities. Just ask Dinesh D'Sousa.
Cheers,

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The fact is that there is a strain of virulence in the anti-Bush movement that seems to equate him with the worst leaders of history, justifying extreme measures.
You misspelled "realism".

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Better examples of right wing hate?
Hmmm... let’s see... Timothy McVeigh and Eric Rudolph came to mind pretty quickly. Give me a minute, I'm sure the righties have more "men of action" than that.
Well, that's two more of those than the left wing. You might add Kopp and Hill, as well as William Butler et.al. and the folks that beat a couple of gays to death.
But if we're just talking verbal diarrhoea, there's plenty to be found at LGF and Freeperville (not to mention Limbaugh, Gallagher, Beck, Levin, Coulter, Wien-- uhh, "Savage", Reagan, Morgan, and the rest of the RW "media stars"....)
Cheers,

@ the anonymous "No Name Given"
[Read the article: Terrible hatred and anger on the left]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]much of Ann at her most biting is actually the work of that most treasured of american literary traditions: humorous satirical social commentary, in the vein of Sam Clemens.
You will look far and wide in vain to find anything that Mark Twain ever wrote as hateful and mean as what emanates every day from Coulter's caudal orifice, and you will look even farther to find anything that Coulter has wrote that has one hundredth the intelligence of Twain's writings or one thousandth of his humour.
That's a fact, ma'am. If this obvious situation escapes you, I submit you've never read Mark Twain.

IC that "shooter242" has returned older but no wiser...
[Read the article: Terrible hatred and anger on the left]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]["shooter242"]: In this case, the death tax is levied upon death before any money goes anywhere.
Nonsense. It is a tax on the inheritance conveyed. You aren't taxed for being dead. You're taxed for inheriting money. I guess "shooter242" thinks it's more acceptable to be taxed for earning money than for being given it for nothing....
... Oddly liberals can understand the idea behind stores lowering prices and making it up in volume, but not when it comes to taxes.
Huh?!?!? "shooter242" is trying to 'explain' that when taxes are made cheaper, the 'demand' for them (and thus volume) goes up?!?!? Methinks "shooter242" read the Cliff's Notes Adam Smith in high school and thinks he's now a friggin' Pee Haicht Dee economist....
The "Laffer Curve" was appropriately named (although not even Laffer went so far as to claim demand for taxes went up with cheaper prices.

[Read the article: Terrible hatred and anger on the left]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Most Republicans don't take her [Coulter] any more seriously than they take George Carlin.
You're humour-impaired. Carlin is funny.
Not to mention: Coulter plays CPAC conventions. Carlin plays comedy shows.
Same goes for "Mr. 'I'm just an entertainer' Cialis Kid".
They are both working pipes in the Mighty Wurlitzer of the Republic party. They work 24X7 to get the latest RNC meme out. That's their jobs, and they are dead serious.
See the difference? Thought not....
Cheers,
