This isn't rocket science, folks.

1. Goodling has "use" immunity - the use immunity statute (18 U.S.C. § 6002) allows the government to prosecute the witness using evidence obtained independently of the witness's immunized testimony. § 6002 provides:

[N]o testimony or other information compelled under the order (or any information directly or indirectly derived from such testimony or other information) may be used against the witness in any criminal case, except a prosecution for perjury, giving a false statement, or otherwise failing to comply with the order.

2. When she appears to testify, she can be ordered to produce the documents. If she fails to produce, on the spot, she may be taken into custody do not pass GO - do not collect $200.00 by the Sergeant at Arms of the Senate, and detained in a holding facility until such time as she DOES produce the documents.

3. If this twirp-bitch wants to play games, she will find out the legal education she got at Regent University is worth a warm bucket of spit.

It doesn't matter what the bogus "reasons" are . . .

. . . apparently these gutless bastards have forgotten the elections in November 06 were about two (2) things:

1. Getting the fuck out of Iraq; and

2. Forcing the sociopathic liar George Walker Bush to face constitutionally mandated congressional oversight.

Now, the Democrats have done exactly what they did before when they sacrificed principle in order to protect themselves by voting to Authorize the Use of Military Force by the Imbecile-in-Chief.

Great is the shame, and many will share in it.

Dear Anonymous - are you off your meds . . .

or are you just fucking stupid?

Perhaps you trust Iranian goodwill or feel the Iranians will be deterred by our airforce that could quickly lose all its airbases to Iranian attack

The Iranian armed forces have no capacity to strike any American installation except those we have ruthlessly installed within a 1,000 radius around Iran, and which actively threaten Iran.

The US now has 700+ bases around the world in 130 countries. How many military bases does Iran have outside of their sovereign border? The US spends as much on defense as the rest of the world combined - and you expect me to worry about a military strike from Iran? We'd blow them off the face of the earth - and they know it.

In 1953, the US overthrew the democratically elected Mossadegh government and installed a monarchy. Name me - if you will be so kind - ONE act against American interests that Iran has ever committed OUTSIDE of their borders?

Iraq was no threat to the US before we invaded them. Iran is not a threat to the US. Indeed, there are no significant threats to the US from any group in the world - including as-Qaeda - except ourselves.

Every year, we kill 36,000 Americans on the highway; we kill another 36,000 American with firearms; we kill an additional 80,000-120,000 Americans with sub-standard medical treatment (AMA figures). The year that a foreign enemy kills more than 200,000 Americans is the year I'll start worrying about foreign threats and stop worrying about the dictatorship that is being fashioned around us as we speak.

Anonymous: Thanks for answering my question: You're fucking stupid.

Vietnam? You want to talk about Vietnam? Let's talk about the Domino Theory - the alleged reason we took over a colonialist war from the French when they got their asses kicked. After signing the Geneva Accords and guaranteeing an election in 1956 - the US - at the behest of John Foster and Allan Dulles - cancelled the scheduled elections because Ho Chi Minh would have received 80% of the vote. Thus began the US involvement in the war, unless you count when Nixon offered the French nuclear weapons to use.

The Domino Theory held that if we didn't stop the commies in Vietnam - then all of Asia would fall. Well - we got beat in Vietnam - we left - and what happened? Jackshit happ[ened, that's what. Vietnam is now our trading partner - just got a new racquestball racquet made there. Australia has not been invaded, nor has New Zealand. Japan stands proud and free. Thailand is where Republicans vacation and molest innocent children. The evil Red Chinese are our #1 trading partner and provide us all those great Walmarts products as well as buying our national debt.

The Sizzlers are no threat to the US fleet unless the fleet insists on placing themselves close enough to IRaq to be at risk.

What is this great threat from Iran you IMAGINE exists? Based on what - besides Fox News Propaganda and your total ignorance and stupidity? Get a clue - and be brave enough not to hide behind that bullshit Anonymous. What a pussy.

Original article: Quote of the day

That goldarned Osama bin Laden . . . he's a-hidin' out!!

If he would just stand up like a man . . . and let us get a bead on his turbanned noggin, I do believe we could blow his haid clean off!!!

But he don't! And he won't!!

He keeps his head down and his mouth shut, as fer as I kin tell.
