Rm2gro: To answer your questions . . .

Are sons of Nazi collaborators now the same thing as Nazi collaborators?

Uh, if they're still in the same line of work, and still hanging out with the same criminal crowd, and still torturing detainees and warrantlessly wiretapping and engaging in any of the umpteen other loathesome fascist practices that their forebears did, then the answer is: YES.

And of course you think I should be extradited. So does the Bush Administration.

Final thoughts on Watergate v. Iraqgate: Did anyone die?? Except E.Howard Hunt's wife?? Then Iraqgate is worse.

Camille gets paid by the letter for her little essays in stupidity . . .

and every time one of us writes a letter - like this one - pointing out her abject cluelessness - it's $$$$Ka-ching$!$!$!$!$!$

Who ya got that's going to be harder for a Republican to beat at the polls? Answer me that naysayers!

Caroline is clearly more qualified for the job than Hillary Clinton was when she first ran, and with a whole lot less toxic baggage.

For crying out loud, she's a lawyer knowledgeable about civil liberties.

And once in office, what Republican assclown in New York State is going to be able to dislodge her from office??? Answer: Nobody, that's who.

@Chris Wood

Buddy, you can just BET Mr. Buzzy has been up Bill's ass and back, so to speak, with stopovers on all the tourist attractions.

Compare her to Hillary or Chuck Schumer and the answer is "Hell, yes, she's qualified!"

Was she stupid enough to vote to Authorize the Use of Military Force in Iraq?? I doubt it, so she's preferable to Hillary.

Was she stupid enough to allow Mukasey to be confirmed as Attorney General??? I doubt it, so she's better than Chuckie Schumer.

And I think her Uncle Ted would be happy to show her the ropes.

Wednesday, December 17, 2008 08:57 AM

I'm sorry, was Caroline stupid enough to vote to Authorize the Use of Military Force in Iraq?

Nope, which makes her better than Hillary.

Was Caroline stupid enough to allow the confirmation of Muksasey as AG??

Nope, which makes her better'n Chuckie Schumer (who ALSO voted Yea on the AUMF.)

Upstate New York can't even spell Allegheny properly . . .

(they spell it Allegany) so I really don't give a rat-turd what upstate NY thinks about Caroline Kennedy. But I do know it gets so cold up there that the undertakers go around checking on everybody to see who'll make it thru the winter, cause after November they can't dig any graves until early May.

Why does he lie???? Because he's a lying scumbag, that's why.

Jebus, if the Purpose Driven Life isn't the biggest load of crap since God knows the Fall of a single Sparrow then Warren isn't a pasty-faced-lard-assed-spudboy-with-a-bad-goatee.

GMAFB!!!

She opposed the War in Iraq from the gitgo, unlike Hillary and Chuckie Schumer.

She was never gullible enough to believe word one out of George W. Bush, unlike Hillary and Chuckie. She never would have rolled over for Mukasey, unlike Chuckie. She's got a law degree from Columbia, has written about constitutional law, she's articulate, intelligent and sharper than 90% of the sitting senate. What's not to like, she's never been elected dog-catcher???

Sunday, December 21, 2008 07:04 AM

Well, sure, Ruth, because Gerald Ford's pardon of the criminal Richard Milhous Nixon was so substantively responsible

for deterring George W. Bush and Dick Cheney from committing crimes. Had Nixon rotted in Leavenworth the last 20 years of his miserable life, the Bushco Boys would have been far less likely to treat the Constitution like toilet paper.

Tell ya what, Ruthie, how about you keep it zipped until the remote time at which you may know what you're talking about?

First things first, people: Trust but verify.

Could hubby get a look at the results of the biopsy?. He should see something in writing before he signs on to do any more for this manipulative person.

Fuck them all. Rinse. Repeat.

If anyone thinks we're going to get to see anything APPROACHING justice . . . well, let me put it this way, I think I can get you in the ground floor of the Madoff Fund

Is Ms. VIcki, or perhaps more importantly John McCain, prepared to testify UNDER OATH and penalty of perjury he never shtupped her?

Once Vicki and John are on the record, it only takes one corroborating disgruntled insider to put both of them in a world of shite.

Here's hoping . . . and, does anyone believe the admitted serial adulterer did NOT boink this bimbo??

Thursday, January 1, 2009 05:31 AM

Hooray for the Red, White & Blue! Another great example of American Exceptionalism.

Memo my self: If you're gonna take a job torturing people, make sure you're an actual employee of the US government.

Thursday, January 1, 2009 05:36 AM

Decade long assault??????

The Watergate Plumbers were NOT an assault on the Constitution? The never-declared War in Vietnam was NOT an assault on the Constitution?? J. Edgar's shenanigans were NOT an assault on the Constitution?? Joe McCarthy was NOT an assault on the Constitution?? Iran-Contra was NOT an assault on the Constitution??

I could go on.

But, yes, we are frogs in the pot and the water is getting very warm.

So happy those rose-colored glasses are working for you.......

With special prosecutors carrying out separate investigations on torture, illegal spying, intelligence manipulation, politicization of DOJ, the destruction of records and manipulation of the financial markets

Hey, I'd love to be able to convince myself that anything whatsoever will be done under Eric Holder about the myriad criminal acts of Bush, Cheney & Co. We can all dream about war crimes trials and whirled peas. . .

Thursday, January 1, 2009 12:45 PM

Someone please explain to the moronic NeoConCabal what "voluntary" means...........

and then also explain how Japanese officers who waterboarded US detainees were convicted of war crimes.

Monday, January 5, 2009 02:46 PM

Like this alleged "librarian" has anything at all to say . . . . . . .

unless maybe she wants to explain why she was able to share home and hearth with a war criminal for the last 8 years.

Thursday, January 8, 2009 04:46 AM

Shut up, Joan, you don't know what you're talking about.

It doesn't NOT make you the "party of integrity" if you conspire to deny a perfectly legal (albeit controversial) appointment based on some fuzzy crap logic of political correctness.

There is no LEGAL reason to deny Burris's appointment. Period. Live with the rule of law.

Thursday, January 8, 2009 05:12 AM

"Grandstanding about the rule of law"?

Gosh - that sounds exactly like something John Yoo, David Addington or Dick Cheney would say. After all, according to George Bush, the Constitution is just a piece of paper.

Original article: W. and the damage done

"Bush's approval rating still hovers between 24-30 percent. Who are these people?!"

Carmina, for one. And then there's that Elephantman clown who shows up occasionally.

Thursday, January 8, 2009 11:43 AM

Bad news for the GOP; good news for the makers of Jim Beam.

Now Kit will be able to devote himself full time to sucking down vast quantities of bourbon. Unfortunately, his responsibilities in the Senate prevented him from fully enjoying his sour mash.

Can't count how many times he has appeared red-faced, bloviating and emitting positively flammable fumes . . .

Friday, January 9, 2009 06:55 AM

Oh, Jebus, get over it already.

Go and and get laid. OR don't. But stop this stupid agonizing. It ain't made out of soap, it doesn't get smaller every time you use it.

check and see if their lips are moving. Duh.

Will Karl fold the farewell letter 5 ways and stuff it where the moon don't shine???

Rove is familiar with the location, as you don't get a nickname like Turdblossom without earning it.
