And the EU just plunked down 550 million Euros to the Palestinians
[Read the article: John McCain's serious foreign policy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So the US package of USD$450 million plus the EU 550 million is about USD$ equivalent 1.3 billion earmarked so far FY2008. Plus I believe the UN jointly and both directly and indirectly kicks in about 1 billion a year (their numbers). That's 2.3 billion. Now let's figure there are 1 million in Gaza and 1.2 milion in Yesha. That's 2.2 million people or about $1050 per every man woman and child. Not a bad deal when you consider that UNRWA is a special organization in that it is the only refugee organization in the world expressly devised for the Palestinians and only the Palestinians. That is, in UN parlance, there is one refugee agency for the whole world, except the Palestinians and there is one agency for the Palestinians and no one else. Moreover they have a unique definition of what a Palestinian refugee is. In short anyone who could claim that they were a resident in the general area in at least 2 years in the period 1945-48 is considered to be a refugee as are all of their descendants, forever, unto the end of time. So if your grandmother never set foot in 'Palestine' ever, and she moved to England where here children and grandchildren live permanently today as British subjects, they are refugees. In a hundred years, their great great grandchildren will be refugees too. All of the 200,000 or so Palestinians living in the US are refugees. All the Palestinians everywhere, even the Palestinians living in Gaza, Ramallah, Jenin, all of them, they are all refugees forever and ever.
Now, if you are an American citizen or a Canadian or Australian or any ethically white person in South America or Africa, India or Asia you are an immigrant or the descendant of an immigrant. Would that we could petition the governments of Russia, Poland, Spain, Belgium, Holland. Ukraine, Turkey and such and demand to be allotted refugees with an unlimited right of return and reparations. I would sign up for that. That would be awesome. That way we could just return the entire United States back to the Cherokee or whatnot and there would be a thousand year reign of peace and prosperity throughout the world. Plus I would some free stuff from the old country. Of course my ancestors probably immigrated to those old countries to so I guess the Huns, Bulgars, Rus, Moors and such would have to lay claim to it before me, and so on all the way back to Bronze Age.
Also for aid you should consult actual Israeli published numbers not the Federation of American Scientists. You get a C- on your homework.

I think the problem you're having
[Read the article: Errol Morris doesn't want you to apologize]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is that you've been raised on a steady diet of slanted polemic. Watching a film that leaves most of the conclusions to the audience to draw on their own, implodes your brains. You want rant, you need slant you want angry agendized protest agnst. Without it, forced to think on your own and face your own conclusions is too unpleasant for you.
And oh, rock is dead.

You would get the same reaction if the question was

[Read the article: John McCain's serious foreign policy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I know what you mean. When I talk to a group a people unless they mindlessly agree with everything I say and clap each other violently on the shoulder agreeing with one another and toasting crumpets to the sky over how we all agree we're incredibly brilliant and such, yeah, I just want to censor and kill them all.
Because I'm a tolerant liberal.
(PS: That's what the scroll key is for, snowflake. Use it, I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.)

[Read more letters about this article: Here]No, it's the case. It is utterly the case.
BTW I'm a registered Democrat. If I'm so far to the right that I'm insane, I guess that makes you a Soviet Era Communist. Or an idiot. Your call.

As opposed to whom, exactly?
[Read the article: John McCain's "I care about poverty" tour]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]For all their handwringing and demanding that the middle class sacrifice for the poor, what exactly have the Dems done about poverty? Exactly what have they accomplished. Health care? Prescription drugs? Social services? Better schools? Tax reform? More sane/humane law enforcement?
You need to disabuse yourselves of brand names.

So the consensus is that it was a Unicorn Peace Factory bombed for no reason at all
[Read the article: Skepticism toward Bush claims about Syria and North Korea]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And you have irrefutable proof. Ok, thanks, Salon. Thanks for clearing that up.
BTW the YEAR before the IAF strike on the Osirak Iraqi atomic reactor, the Iranians tried exactly the same thing, and were not successful. I wonder if it would have been the war crime you all think it was if the Iranians did it? No I supposed not (NJWI - no Jews were involved)

Some of my best friends are terrorists

8200 rockets in 18 months
[Read the article: John McCain's serious foreign policy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That's what's been fired into Israel. And they're the bad guys because they build bomb shelters so that their children aren't killed. None the less since the Hamas have stated point blank a reiteration of the Kartoum conference's "3 No's" - no peace, no recognition, no negotiation, it's hard to see what anyone can do with Hamas.
Have you ever read the Hamas Charter?

(I can hardly wait for the Salonistas to tell me the US Constitution is a contract for Genocide and nothing more, too.)

Dear Hardcore Libs:
The 60's are over, the Columbia Student Protests didn't accomplish anything.
