  • Well whatever happens

There's a pretty high probability that it will be inherited by some Democrat who will neither pull out nor escalate. It will fester either way. And come 2012 the left wing of the Dem party will once again imagine that they were betrayed, they will scream and make a lot of noise and hand the Office over to the GOP again.

The Democratic Party's Catch and Release Program - making sure America is structurally dysfunctional, since I don't know when.

  • First off

PETA is bunch of pampered morons. So don't worry about paying attention to them any more than you pay attention to any other ziphead careening down the street dressed in aluminum foil and birdshit.

  • Good

    Kill more Americans. I laugh.

  • The whole government should quit

And we must make his Royal Highness Obama Maximum Leader Director of the Realm and General Purpose Sun God for Life.

Their recent runup in marginal tax rates at the high end has created a new and large tax expat community in Switzerland. So instead of creating additional revenue, it's created less.

See also the British tax expat invasion to the US in the middle 1960's when the UK's top marginal rate was 98%.

And let me tell you, that if they don't fix the AMT, I will leave the US. And I'm middle class. There's just no reason to be sucked dry for no return.

Not 'everywhere'. You'll the states & communities of self appointed Greens take the electricity from regions in the country aka the SE that they're happy to let millions of no shoes wearing hillbillies build all the far away nuke plants they want.

  • You should also ask anyone in the Air Force

McPeak was universally hated and laughed at. His plan to deploy dissimilar aircraft types in the same logistics chain even though it was known they would not fight together or work together was completely scorned as expensive, dangerous and unworkable. If he didn't know HIS job, we shouldn't worry about him telling us what the President's job is.

  • No you have that backwards

When an American citizen gives up their citizenship one of the first things to happen is that the IRS takes you to tax court under the assumption that no one would ever leave America unless it was to skip out on taxes. Mostly it's a roadblock to make the task harder and more time consuming but there's not an awful lot they can do, ultimately other than being a bother and wasting a great deal of time. There are at least a dozen countries that have fairly lax laws of ingathering so there's a large number of Americans who qualify for near-instant citizenship in other countries. At that point, one can give up their American citizenship and passport.

You really need to work on your Borat impression.

  • Who really cares

[Read the article: In Iraq, an explosion ... of employment!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In a few short years, Iraq's near permanent refusal to invest in their oil infrastructure (since at least 1979) means that their economy is going to stall out and die. Already the oil fields in production since 1938 are running out (according ELF Aquitaine). The quality of the oil is faltering and what's left is imperiled by water intrusion and high sulfur content which will destroy the very equipment used to get it out of the ground. Only a 7th of the land is arable and permanent crops account for < 0.66% of the total land. In short - w/o oil they can't feed themselves. And yet this almost nonexistent agriculture accounts for 92% of their total fresh water consumption. Iraq was screwed a long time ago. It's over for them. Insane dictatorship doesn't really work out long run.

I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about. Check the thread. Apparently only you and people like you are allowed to name call, insult, curse and rave. I suspect this is the standard mode of operations for Obama supporters: Rant and rave, censor everyone else and then claim that the whole world agrees with you since clearly there are no different opinions.

It's a mystery why Conason and the bigots here are in a feedback loop of gloating. Oh wait it's not. It's Salondotcom.

Please carry on your race baiting. It's charming. And - - it's an effective strategy too!

So let's summarize the recent torrent of True Love Obama Style:

    I'm not proud of America

    America is ignorant

It's the Zionists who created AIDS to exterminate the Black Man

It's those Jews in NY (Hymietown) and Miami who are the reason there's no peace in the world

I bet your jaw will drop to the floor when Obama's Jewish vote is far lower than you expected, but rest assured you'll probably accuse them of treason for voting against you.

    Kiss Noise, suckaz.

the very notion that men would chart their own course is news worthy enough to raise the question of whether it's legitimate and allowable.

The problem with satire is you have to aim it at people who understand it. Sadly Saloniks would actually embrace most of what you propose. During the years of Stalin, it was a small cadre of devoted Party Members who actively pursued all of the persecutions and atrocities that killed millions and plummeted the country into anarchy and famine for the sake of ideology and personal affect. Even when they themselves were harmed.

It takes a village to raise a child, also, it takes one to build and operate a deathcamp.

  • We would expect rates to go up

You folks have that glint eyed tone of people who think Obama is.
