  • Isn't it wonderful

That the professional sex worker has managed to launder money, avoid taxes and become a minor star all while performing illegal acts?

  • Obama supporters take this as a badge of honor

They can't be corrected or argued with. They are the definition of deluded and arrogant to point of psychosis. If Obama said we should drown 10 million Americans, which might not really be a bad idea, his minions would cheer. Obama has the potential to be this country's greatest demagogue if not dictator.

  • I'm waiting for binary chemical agents

That are inert separately but lethal or explosive when combined. I'm sure someone could make them look like shampoo or whatnot and package them in the appropriate sized containers. Heck you could put selenium oxychloride in a container then rapidly mix it with water. You get a fuming acid and a neurotoxic agent. Then what will you do? Ban carry ons? Ban prescription drugs? See, you just can't win this battle and you should give up already.

  • Obama supporters are this close to declaring the irrelevance of elections

[Read the article: Rum, Romanism and James Carville]

I expect one of his aids to simply blurt out soon that his coronation is a foregone conclusion and we need not bother with this election silliness anymore. Just crown the man and seat him on his golden throne.

  • Nothing so dramatic as the apocalypse

But simply letting it run down and run out is a plausible strategy. Just let the industrial age peter out. No oil, no pesticides, no drugs or medicine, no plastic no chemicals no man made fibers, no power. Just let it unwind to the 18th century. Sure the initial crash will come hard. But after that, 2 or 3 generations it will be fine. No cars, no steel, no planes, no electronics. Seems fine to me. I'll be gone and I honestly don't care what happens to you.

  • Why is everything a soap opera?

I bet the real rate of desertions is higher than the army admits. And the US is a big country filled with idiots. So it's still easy to disappear w/o guilt. I'd like to see a movie about someone who didn't have a meltdown, just decided to walk away and start over. Heck, it's probably happened in real life a thousand times over.

  • By the time Michelle Obama

Starts screaming for America to collectively go fuck itself, Obama supporters will have pissed away the Dem victory that was theirs for the taking.

Yes fire up the recording of The Internationale and march down the street with giant puppets against Class Warfare. I wholeheartedly endorse not prosecuting crimes based solely on the non white maleness of the perpetrator.

(actually I do, I want the US to implode)

  • Look the thing to do

Is run out and kill everyone better off than you.

  • To paraphrase Viktor Frankl

founder of The 3rd School Austrian Psychotherapy, once you look at people in terms of utility, in terms what use they are, you essentially open the door to mass euthanasia.

Now, the people of the western industrialized world, merely have to ask themselves, if that is a good or bad thing, again. Me? I don't care. Go ahead and tattoo numbers on people's arms if you need to. By the time it comes around, I'll be old and disposable anyway.

Westerners, Americans in particular have an enormous and unique ability to resist genocide and fascism until the it impinges on them personally. Then they jump into it headlong and call it progress.

  • Pitch the keys to the shed over our shoulders and leave.

Broken and unfixable is broken and unfixable and whether you stay because you feel guilty that you broke it or you stay because you think you can advance some other agenda, you're still there. Even St. Bama doesn't seem eager to leave Iraq. So what exactly are you complaining about?

Just leave and leave it to whatever they Iraqis, Iranians. Syrians can manage. Or not. Even if you look to just the oil there, the Iraqi oil infrastructure needs massive capital infusions and rebuilding that no one, NO ONE has any plan to do. Not even their next door neighbors have any interest at all in rebuilding their own oil infrastructure, choosing instead to slowly abandon it in favor of nuclear power/weapons. And why should they as long as the price is $110/bbl. They make more money letting it crash and burn and investing the revenue in the capital markets in the west.

Therefore there is no solution. And the idea that Arab states can cooperate to pull together is a myth. It's never happened and it never will. The Arab league meeting in Damascus now, is being boycotted by half of the Arab states who refuse to pay in their own share. Why? Because cooperation is not something they do. So let the sands reclaim Iraq. No one can fix it and no one wants to and interfering with it will just make it worse.

In 20 or 30 years all the easy to get oil will be unobtainable anyway and their economies will collapse on the dual problem of no oil and exploding populations that have not educated themselves let alone attained food sufficiency. And then it all ends in a fiery aria of grubby wars and atrocities. I'm sure the ZPG people here would be happy with 700 million fewer people consuming resources.

  • Anyway, shooting down a plane with a shoulder fired missile is a lot more efficient

At under 2000 ft elevation and 250kts an airliner is one big goddamn target. It's only a matter of time before someone gets their hands on a Russian MPR and takes one down. We're not talking about lone nuts who want to blow up their wife. We're talking about people with $100,000 to spend on a black market weapon one time use.

  • We must bow obsequiously at the Altar of Bama

Let the aircrew carry grenades, and a fireaxe, samurai sword and that cattle killer from No Country for Old Men.

They can be hitched like draft animals or like those slaves in the sword and sandals movies. Mush! ya swarthy bastards! Mush!
