  • The Obama Nation Thought Police are revved up and rarin' to go !!!

[Read the article: Rush Limbaugh was right]

You people haven't seen nuttin' yet. Just wait until after he gets elected. He's already hinted at how he would deal with elected officials who "don't support" his policies: "the people" will handle them. More like a lynch mob organized by his version of the Nazi browshirts. Welcome to the New America, boys and girls. It won't be pretty.

  • Why is public opinion rendered irrelevant?

[Read the article: Rendering public opinion irrelevant ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Because, at one time in human history, the great majority of the public believed that the Earth was flat and that the universe revolved around it.

Which is, by the way, a direct parallel to to the thinking that Barack Obama is the President this country needs today. An idea based purely on faith and projection, not fact.

  • Why does the US support Israel?

[Read the article: The Obama show lands in Israel]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Because it is a small representative democracy surrounded by a legion of large, theocratic, undemocratic and hostile states.

But go ahead, let Obama Nation abandon Israel to its neighbors and see it destroyed. It would be a beautiful entry in the history books. I would look forward to it. Eternal damnation for the Obama name and all his supporters. It would be a sweet epilogue to the current mental aberration in this nation's politics.

You are showing your true stripes. Authoritarianism, but from the left.

I heartily agree that the current Democratic Party, soon to be renamed "Obama Nation", perform the surgery you advocate in this piece. It is time the American voter realize that the idea of a "Big Tent" party has died, that internet-based idealogues and fanatics rule today's politics.

Maybe a third party that remains true to the center of American politics will appear and prove once and for all that you extremists (on the Right and on the Left) are precisely what is wrong with American politics.

I wish you success in your endeavour. The country has gone through the Hell of the Hard Right and will vote for a change, but only after also tasting the Hell of the Hard Left will people realize that the center is actually a good thing.

No contrary at all. Your logic is convoluted and flawed. Not worth a response.

Another convoluted twisting of my words. Same response to you, buddy boy.

You have gotten it wrong, my friend. We should all move to a neighborhood where everyone thinks, speaks, acts and walks like OBAMA !!!!. And then we must think, speak act and walk LIKE HIM !!!. It is thus so written !!! He is the MESSIAH !!!

    All Hail Obama !!!

And where in my post did I say anything against the Constitution? Or advocate breaking laws? You're full of it. Creating straw man arguments to make yourself appear in the right. Go take a hike.

Firstly, you id10t, my post was re G's movement to purge the Dems of the BDDs. Read it again and try to remember when you had a brain.

Secondly, to your concern re alleged violations of the Constitution and the breaking of laws by our elected officals (emphasis on "elected"). Internet pundits do not have jurisdiction re whether the Constitution was violated or laws were broken -- not even the darlings of the liberal press such as GG. Take it up with the courts. Unless the courts decide in your favor you're up the creek without a paddle. That's our system. Don't like it? Leave.

I couldn't care less about what the pundits and posters on this site think, so I really don't need to "calm down" for you. One thing is still certain in this country. If you don't get convicted for a crime you are still considered innocent. Wail all you want about it. In the eyes of our legal system no wrong was done. You don't like it? Ask Obama to change it. Maybe he can get rid of all the judges and replace them with his acolytes. Then maybe your bloodlust for a political purge will be sated. Knock yourself out. I'll just watch the fireworks.

"I'm talking about the views of a vast majority of Americans."

    - And how do you know what those views are? Polls? Pfft. Speak for yourself and for yourself alone. Don't lump everyone else into your worldview.

"Your cavalier attitude about letting crimes go unpunished suggests that you are happy about the notion that those in power are using that power to keep themselves unaccountable for their crimes."

    - Again. In case you forgot. Unless a court has convicted someone no crime has been committed. Or are you going to add public lynchings to the list of acceptable behavior in this country? This is still a country of laws and procedure. So you aren't happy with the results? Move somewhere else. Or vote to change it. Unfortunately for you, your single vote counts just as much as my single vote -- you can't multiply it like the loaves and the fish. But wait! Obama is the Messiah!!! He'll multiply your vote into the hundreds!!!

"Our legal system (up to the USSC) has determined that Bush has gone against [sic] engaged in illegal acts on more than one count."

    - And? What penalty was decided upon? Nothing? Please enlighten. Are you saying that a court ordered Bush to be put in jail and nobody has gone over to arrest him? Really? Explain. But you really can't, can you? Pathetic.

It is this "patently preposterous" rule that keeps this society from degenerating into chaos. If the decision of the courts are not respected who decides innocence or guilt? You? Your neighbor? The lynch mob? Glenn Greenwald? Obama? Who decides?

You are another id10t. The police arrest a suspect of a crime. The jury decides guilt and the court sentences. Jeez, you Hard Lefties are pathetic.

The "useless and moribund" party may just hand your Obama a surprise this November, lol. Send him packing back to Chicago.
