[Read the article: Viva Hillary Clinton!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Typical Obama supporter -- projecting his hopes and aspirations on this "blank slate" of a candidate. Obama is the ultimate hypocrite of a politician. The "change" candidate turns out to be a protege of Wright & co. The "yes we can" candidate turns out to have not done a thing during his years in Chicago and his half-term in the senate. The "unifier" candidate pulls blacks to his side by charging his opponent with racism. His New Liberal Fascist brownshirt supporters blanket the internet with hate against his opponent's supporters and calls to take down editors who do not hew to their views. His New Liberal Fascist supporters in the Media accuse his opponent of "pimping" out their daughter and make calls for someone to take that opponent into a room and kill her. etc., etc., ad nauseam.
Just Say No to Obama Nation.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]GOP troll? LOL. Just read a few pages of my letter history from the beginning. Then make your accusation. You do not know me or anything about me, yet you call me a GOP troll. Yet again -- a typical Obama Supporter.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]"So, not troll, as an honest-to-goodness Dem, can you answer my question regarding why Clinton doesn't have to win the votes of Obama supporters in November to be elected?"
I never said that she doesn't have to win their votes. She should try to. But if they don't want to back her there's nothing she can do about it. Such is life. Such is politics. She should still win without them.
And my bashing of Obama supporters has always been in response to their bashing. And the profanity is tit-for-tat.
Not defend Clinton and her policies? Pfft. The Clintons should have been defended by 100% of the true Democrats. But the rats abandoned ship as soon as they saw it was politically expendient. The Clinton's progressive policies have been on display for decades -- and they took immense personal damage from the Republicans for it. They took it for the Democratic Party. You cannot deny that. Therefore I support them. You go ahead and be just another rat. Go ahead and vote Obama. He deserves you.

@Fester
[Read the article: Viva Hillary Clinton!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What is considered "progressive" in politics is always from the person's point of view, so I will not debate it here. For example, I do not consider "gay marriage" progressive. Full equality of gays before the law -- definitely. But the concept of "marriage" should be sent back to the churches (where they belong) and those should enforce their own rules. And no law-based advantages for married couples, either.
However, the conclusions reached by the participants in the forum on Bill Clinton's legacy hosted by the Brookings Institution pretty much summarize how I view Bill Clinton's presidency. You fill find them here:
http://www.brookings.edu/events/2001/0109elections.aspx
This couple brought the Democrats back from the grave. And they have been spit on in return. I guess the new by-word for Democrat politics is "Chicago-style". I will not support it.

No Way
[Read the article: Barack Obama's epic win]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Unifying" behind Obama is to accept the following:
- New Liberal Fascist brownshirts on the internet and in the MSM telling what remains of the old democrats what to do and what to think, no questions or protestations allowed. If you don't do what they say they will spread all manner of lies and propaganda to destroy you, as they did to the Clintons.
- The Democratic Party becomes hostage to the Black Vote. 98% bloc voting for Black candidates. Not just in this primary, but in all elections, local, state and national. A gun pointed at the head of all Democratic officials at all levels.
- The death of the Clinton Center. A surge to the Hard Left by the what remains of this political party, in the manner of MoveOn.org, Michael Moore, Rev. Wright, et al. This is not your parents' Democratic Party anymore. That is dead.
The only way to prevent this from happening is for Obama to lose the general in November. It's your choice. It's your vote. Don't be railroaded. McCain will have at most a single term and the House and Senate will be dominated by Democrats. Don't give the party away to these radicals.

[Read the article: Barack Obama's epic win]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Ricardo, you I respect. And by now you should know that I said way back in February that if Clinton does not win the nomination I will vote -- and campaign -- for McCain. It is in my letter history.
The Democratic Party has not been hijacked by "radical blacks". It has been hijacked by the Radical Left. Obama is just their instrument. He is a politician. A good man -- but a politician nonetheless. And a politician has to satisfy his supporters. If you want proof that this has been my opinion from day one, here is an old post:

So you see, Ricardo. This is not personal. This is about the future of the Democratic Party. And of this country. I have my strong beliefs about it. and I will not be railroaded. You will cast your vote and I will cast mine. That is Democracy. At least we still have that.
