"Will Bush dare to ....?"
Well, what has this so-called leader of the USA NOT dared thus far in his infamous career?
-- During his days in business, he managed to use his family influence to get all his debts and borrowings written off (got the public to bear all his losses).
-- He evaded his stint in the US defence services, safely hiding himself in good ole USA under family patronage instead of exposing himself to the dangers of Vietnam (and I wonder, did he manage somehow to get himself a decoration for doing that??!!) [AND, years later, he managed to get Karl Rove to script him a Swift Boat scenario to blacken the honour of a man who DID serve in Vietnam. The Great American Sheeple did not catch on at all!]
-- During his 'reign' as Governor of the Great State of Texax, USA, he sent some 152 people to the execution chamber. (There were, of course, some muted baas and bleats from the Great American Sheeple - but nothing was done, obviously to curb his psychopathic tendencies - and years later, he was able, as President, to indulge his wildest fantasies with all the powers as 'LEADER' of the world's only superpower).
-- As President of the USA, GW Bush LIED to US citizens from Day One about WMD in Iraq to get them to support his foolish war. (And, like the sheeple they probably are, they bought all his lies and the lies of his neocon controllers).
-- He LIED to the US Congress (including Hillary Clinton) to get needed funding for his war. (And, fear-stricken leaders of the great US sheeple, they fell all over him to hand over $500 billion or so for him to wage his wargames! Lying to the Congress is said to be an impeachable offense - so what is the Great American Congress waiting for?? For pigs to get wings and fly??)
-- He is still an unregenerate liar with almost every word he says. (And the GREAT AMERICAN SHEEPLE have still not caught on!!!)
-- He dared to commit war crimes - and the great American sheeple simply followed him into that territory!
-- He justified the crimes of Abu Ghraib by simply dismissing them with the comment: "That isn't the America I know". (For sure, that was not the US he had ever experienced for himself - but the Abu Graibh prisoners DID experience that criminal USA!)
-- He dared to put on his itty-bitty yellow pilot uniform (using at least 3 handkerchiefs as 'maleness enhancers'), to pretend to fly himself all of 2 miles to the aircraft carier - USS Abraham Lincoln, was it - in a jet fighter, there to announce to The Great American Sheeple: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! (Ho! Ho!! HO!!!) And The Great American Sheeple have STILL not asked him the real questions they should have been asking from the very first (not in any effective way, in any case).
-- He got that 'honorable' soldier, Colin Powell, to lie for him in the UN to get worldwide support for his foolish war. To their credit, very few were inveigled or bullied into believing those lies except, perhaps, for that ragged bunch of poodles, the 'Coalition of the Willing' who were pushed and pulled into that foolish war by their own foolish compulsions. To their eternal shame, NONE of the world's leaders except Nelson Mandela dared to treat GW Bush like the pariah he is.
-- When his appointee, Michael D. Brown, contributed significantly to the suffering of New Orleaners through an amazing meld of incompetence, arrogance and callousness, GW Bush actually complimented that scoundrel: "Doin a great job, Brownie". (And the great American sheeple still did not catch on to the games that were being played with their nation!)
And the great American sheeple have STILL not caught on. They have not thrown the scoundrel out of power. They have not put him in the jail that should be his home for the rest of his unnatural life.
So do enlighten us, Mr Joe Connason: Just what it is that you think this scoundrel leader of yours WON'T dare??

Chikalada's got it absolutely right - the single underlying contributory factor to practically all of Planet Earth's problems is there are just too many human beings: we are the equivalent of a cancer on Earth, destroying the organism that sustains us.
In the US, some 300-odd million humans overconsume and cause the gravest damage to the planetary ecosystem. In India, we have a 1000 million human beings, mostly 'underconsuming' (by US standards) - but due to our numbers, we too cause quite significant damage to the ecosystem; and now that India seems to have gotten over that famous 'Hindu rate of growth' syndrome, Planet Earth can look forward to the depradations of a sizable number out of these 1000-million Indians!
I don't know how accurate the following statement is: It will take something like the death toll of one 2004-tsunami each day for the next 18 years(!!!) to bring the human population back to levels that Earth can sustain!
Till we learn how to handle this major problem of human overpopulation on Earth, all our efforts are are just 'pissing into the wind'.
