Original article: McCain loses again

Only 'dirty tricks' will succeed from this point onwards...

I quote a couple of letters appearing as "Readers' Commentary" to the New York Times editorial on the 'Third Debate'(

http://community.nytimes.com/article/comments/2008/10/16/opinion/16thu1.html?s=1&pg=2), more or less mirroring what most readers seemed to feel:

Obama's margin can only have widened tonight as he repeatedly parried McCain's attacks with clarity and substance. He looked even more presidential.

There are now only three ways McCain can win: hidden racism, voting machine fraud (visit www.blackboxvoting.org) or another terrorist attack.

Analyses in the Times make clear that the racism factor is unlikely to overcome a margin such as Obama enjoys. Voting machine fraud, if systematic, would be glaringly apparent in the face of such a huge lead, and I do not believe it will be attempted. That leaves another 9-11, supposedly a time in which voters would turn to the sure, steady hand of experience. But our experience with these two gentlemen leaves most of us more comfortable with the sure, steady hand of the newcomer.

— Darster, Birmingham

There was a very noticeable difference in the responses of the two men. Sen. Obama was calm and collected throughout the evening. The difference was palpable. It was easy to see Mr. Obama as the president and nothing could convince me Mr. McCain was ready for that office. On the question of the vice president candidates succeeding to the presidency, Mr. Obama settled that easily...Mr. Biden is totally ready to take over, Ms. Palin is not in the same league. America knows this.

— Stan Bermann, Santa Fe, NM

The ONLY dirty tricks that might lead to McCain-Palin's success from this point may be things like a 'terrorist attack' to rival 9/11; the assassination of Obama - truly horrific things like that. I do hope US citizens are being careful enough and awake enough to counter such Rovian schemes!

I for one do NOT put such craziness beyond the thinking of the GW Bush+Dick Cheney+neocon Gang of war criminals that has been leading the US since 2000:

Remember how GW Bush, confronted with the effects of Katrina, said: "You're doin' a great job, Brownie!" to commend the toady he had appointed as head of FEMA?

Remember how GW Bush sent over 150 convicts to the execution chamber when he was Governor of Texas?

Remember the lies with which the GW Bush Gang launched their Iraq war?

Remember how GW Bush, this loathsome War Criminal, spoke of the 'political capital' he had "earned" through his first four years as president?

Well, do be very, very watchful, US citizens!

I'm afraid it won't be such a devastating blow as we would all like it to be...

I'm afraid Colin Powell's endorsement of Barack Obama's candidacy will NOT have only positive results for Obama.

First and foremost, there is the huge baggage that Powell carries with him of being one of the Bush Gang of War Criminals (though he has commendably for quite some time discontinued his membership there). But the way he lied to the United Nations still leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, and definitely a negative impact on my mind.

Second - and by no means is this a negligible factor in the racially charged situation of the US today** - there will be all too many perceivomg this as racial support of blacks for the black candidate - quite a few whites will be motivated against Obama on this account. (I understand the Bill Rileys and the Rush Limbaughs are already sharpening their knives on Powell's support of Obama. What comments will Sarah Palin have on the subject, perhaps not immediately, but tomorrow, and tomorrow, and ..., over the next two weeks? What use will Karl Rove make of it?) [**This is only my judgement from far away in India].

Where the Devil Really Resides...

NancySue22:

Take a look at the photographs of Obama and Biden.

Then take a look at the photographs of GW Bush and Dick Cheney.

Now, speak the truth as I believe Jesus would have you do and answer this simple question:

Who looks the most devilish?

IMHO:

1) Dick Cheney (Senior Devil)

2) GW Bush (Junior Devil)

--there's devilishness written all over them!

There is not a trace of devilishness at all or of evil that I can see in Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

Now look at the true inheritors of GW Bush and Dick Cheney (i.e. John McCain and Sarah Palin):

Look at that photo of John McCain with his goatish tongue sticking out!

Look at those photos of Sarah Palin slaughtering moose and bravely, HEROICALLY shooting wolves and bears from aeroplanes!!

And then honestly - if you're capable of honesty - tell me if these aren't the true inheritors of THE REAL DEVIL himself who has resided in GW Bush and Dick Cheney for ever so long!

(Speak the truth and shame the devil, NancySue22 - I absolutely dare you to do that!)

Some spelling classes needed...

NancySue22:

I'm afraid you really do need to go to spelling class once again:

What is this strange thing you call

"AntiCHRITST"???

Is that something like

"NancySue22, Illiterate"???

Do tell.

Naaah, couldn't be. It's more like NancySue22's bubbling over with some truly devilish fury and demonic rage against GS Chandy. Soon, she'll start having fits, I'm afraid. Someone, anyone in the vicinity, do keep ready some smelling salts and maybe you should even get hold of people knowing how to perform a Heimlich manoeuvre and stuff like that. Please, please, do it quickly! Before NancySue22 collapses into a real fit of utterly impotent rage!! Save her!!! She's really so much fun!!!!

(By the way - Good Night for now, NancySue22. It's getting late for me here in India, and I have to go home to get into bed with a Good Book).
