mmmmmm Bacon

Hey fellow bacon lovers, if you are ever in Texas there is a chain called Rudy's Barbecue. They have 3 choices for brisket: lean, regular, and extra moist. The extra moist is like the beef version of bacon. The fat just melts in your mouth. I could never give it up.

lauri jst

Well said, I support almost every single thing they try to do, but what is their motivation in making that statement. That was a very hate filled statement. They don't seem to be the enlightened people they pretend to be.

more thoughts

PETA's announcement was mean and it achieved nothing. It would have served their goals much better to say," PETA would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Steve Irwin. We would also like to say that we disagree with his methods of animal coservation for these reasons....." Do they know something about him that I don't know? Was he doing something behind the scenes that was contrary to what he preached on camera? Hate doesn't accomplish anything. His kids will take over his legacy some day and PETA just closed off any possibility that they could work with his kids in the future and incourage them to see things their way. These people strike me as being the church ladies of the animal rights world. Just because Steve Irwin was a different approach, they see him as I don't know maybe SATAN! Cue: Superiority Dance

Old moms vs old dads

I recently read an article about a study that found a link to autism and the age of fathers at conception. The older the father, the greater the odds the child will be autistic. The article stated that the same was not true for the age of the mother. I agree that it is equally irresponsible for men or women past the natural childbearing years to intentionally conceive a child.

menstration pain

I am a woman who has experienced extreme pain during my periods every month since I first started having periods. Even as an intelligent young woman with many doctors, literature, and female friends and relatives around to reassure me that this was normal and I wasn't dying, I still found menstration frightening and miserable. I can't imagine what it would have been like if a was a brain damaged invalid that couldn't even tell someone I was in extreme pain. A very large percentage of women are just like me. I am not a wimp when it comes to pain. Most of the doctors and dentists I have had in my life have commented about my high threshold of pain. If I were to live the life of this girl, I would want someone to perform those surgeries. I do not think our sexual organs define us as people. If I had to have a double mastectomy and a hysterectomy due to cancer, I would still be me in every way.

Cary Bashers

What makes you narcissistic people think that anybody is interested in whether or not you like Cary's style of writing. We don't care if you are going to stop reading the column. Go find an advice column that you do enjoy and don't come back to this one. Obviously Cary is very popular with a loyal and consistant fan base that likes Cary the way he is now. Some days I too think that his answers are rambling. Usually it is because I have no personal experience or interest in the problem so I either choose to scan over it or skip it all together. It would never occur to me to attack Cary or the letter writer. When he responds to a letter with a problem similiar to one of my own situations, I am interested in every word he has to say. Who cares if some people think it is a small problem compared to other issues. Why do some of you think that every problem has to be about some desperately important issue. The world doesn't revolve around you. Do you have to complain about everything that doesn't please you? We don't want to hear it. Go away already, please.

The Dailey Show

How could you fail to mention that the Dailey Show will be showing clips from Rob Riggle's tour of Iraq with the USO. This won't be a joke using the green screen. He went over there with the shows writer, Kevin Bleyer and the shows field producer Glenn Clements.

Does the Dailey Show still qualify as fake news?

Your sentence structure and punctuation is very poor. Why is it that the most critical people I know are also the ones that tend to make the most errors?
