. . . and yet I always read your columns because they were funny and well-written. Good luck in your new role. I am sure wherever you apply your talents Salon will benefit.
People that care so much about that sanctity of marriage don't seem to mind that there isn't a human so vile that he/she can't get married -- unless of course that person is gay.
Serial killers, arsonists, murderers, pedophiles, drug addicts can all get married no problem. People that beat or neglect their kids -- not a problem. Ten marriages? sure. Get married while wrestling in a vat of butter? OK.
Two gay people getting married, that is just offensive to god.
