THIS ARTICLE IS SO RIGHT (CORRECT)

Most people do not consider that who the President selects for his cabinet must be approved by the Senate so this has to be considered when he makes a choice . The same is true of laws and programs . The congress controls the money and makes the laws and the President can only try to convince . Regarding health care ; The "public option" was dreamed up by someone to benefit Wall Street and has saturated the media with this debate . The real truth is "health care providers" cause insurance rates to increase and the same thing will happen with the "public option" as it has with medicare . And Wall Street (GOP) can destroy the "public option" insurance program as they have been doing with medicare . Before RR we had many low cost government clinics and hospitals and he dismantled them so the AMA would not have the competition these low cost health systems offered . A governemnt insurance program will be a failure unless the AMA has competition and many know this but do not have the voice to oppose the media sponsored "public option" . You can bet your socks if the media is pushing it Wall Street wants it .

THE FLIM FLAM PUBLIC OPTION

Many of us remember when Ronald R. became Governor of California he hated domestic programs and proceded to end as many as it was politically possible . When he and his VP , GHWB , took over the reins of the US Government as a team they began to close many of the US Government programs also . An assault which continued through the GWB Presidency . During the Ronald R. , the GHWB , the WJC , and the GWB eras many health care programs were closed and in some cases putting many institutionized people out on the streets where many remain today and leaving many low income people with no place to go for health care . Prior to Ronald R. the AMA group had competition from the many local , county , State , and US hospitals and clinics and kept their charges low enough for many Americans to afford health care from them . Once the many public clinics and hospitals were closed or shifted to higher income groups the AMA group began to increase the amounts of their charges and to continue to make profit the health insurance companies increased their charges also and both have increased at a rate greater than any wage increases or inflation increases . These rate increases are a burden for medicare and some of it's recipients as the annual Social Security check deductions for medicare insurance increase to cover the AMA increases . Presently a trip to the doctor's office or the hospital is a terrifying experience for any medicare recipient . The bill always exceeds the amount the medicare insurance and the out of pocket supplimental insurance pays . So the AMA is really giving the seniors a mental illness to go along with their other aliments . Bring back the AMA competition . Another insurance will not work .

STATEHOOD REVOKED ?

If these Birthers are revoking Hawaii's Statehood then Congress had better check the credentials of their members from Hawaii and report to the U.S. Department of Immigration that we have a lot more illegals here than we thought we had .

All American Gouging

The insurers are totally against any suggestion of competition yet they have set their rates to where 50 million Americans can not afford to pay the insurers charges . It is well known that the insurers make great profits by not paying claims after they have collected from the Americans that can afford to pay . Since CONGRESS has made it legal for insurers to not pay claims and to discriminate as to which Americans they will do business with , why doesn't the insurers also offer lower rates to the 50 million low income uninsured Americans and not not pay their claims also . $5.00/month X 50 million is still a lot of money some legally operating illegal insurer shouldn't over look . If Americans are going to be gouged CONGRESS and the insurers should make it for all Americans . There are 40 million American government employees that have insurance paid for by the rest of us Americans to private insurers . The question is : If all of these employees were insured by Medicare would the government save money ?

CONSERVATIVE HEALTH CARE

Here is something for Grandma to think about :

We have 40,000,000 government workers in the U.S.A. that have health care paid for by American tax payers to private insurance companies . THE QUESTION IS : WOULD IT BE LESS EXPENSIVE IF THE WORKERS WERE INSURED BY MEDICARE ? The answer is YES . What about the tax payer ? If we let the American tax payer die from some malady because of the lack of health care , who will pay for the 40,000,000 goverment workers health care insurance ? Are all of these 40,000,000 government workers paying in to Medicare ?
