Original article: Bill Ayers talks back

I still don't get it.

Throughout the campaign I kept hearing about this terrorist Bill Ayers and kept wondering why the police or homeland security didn't pick this guy up??? For heaven's sake, if he is that dangerous, how could he be running free? Now that he is interviewing with the press, I still keep looking for the big story of how he was arrested and tried and found guilty. Was he just some "big-mouth" on the left, like a lefty Limbaugh wannabe, or did he really commit terrorist acts? I'll never understand the rage of voters who were influenced by this story when voting for president, but never shouted for his arrest or demanded be taken away to guantanamo at least.

Journalists have made newspapers irrelevant

The reason newspapers and magazines no longer sell is because they offer only slightly more authenticity than partisan internet blogs--which we can all get for free!

Beginning with the Clinton era, journalists were encouraged to chase down tabloid headlines that attacked the prez--so they started following the whereabouts of Monica's blue dress and the investigations of those boastful men who said they could indict hamburgers.

Now that we have another democratic president, we have to endure yet more of this. Only this time it's the birthers, death panels, concentration camps, and any yahoo tin-foil hat, fake outrage story the right can dream up--journalists will report on it and lend it more substance. But who needs journalists anymore? They've all turned into bloggers and rumor mongers.
