What strikes me as funny regarding this entire situation, is that Mr. Colbert called out the press corps for being what they are..."hacks"..., and then they play right into his hands by proving he is right. Yet, somehow we all act like we are to be surprised that they were not magically awakened by the line he drew in the proverbial sand. Perhaps he was simply daring them to cross over and reclaim their balls...you know the ones that that they handed over to this administration. Is it not possible that in a week or so he can simply sit back and say..."see I told you so America, I knew it would never happen...now pay up...Back to you John".
Isn't this the same band that Dragged Kelly Clarkson up on stage to do a shot of Jack Daniels, and sing Sweet Child O' Mine? Seems to be a theme. The best part of that clip was the singer from Yellowcard trying to get some face play, and no one really cared who he was.
Anyone remember this classic from McCain?? Too bad he has forgotten.
If the outcry from the right is so great as to have an entire media giant such as NBC cave to their demands, we should boycott them and their programming to send a message of our own....oh right, we lack the fortitude and backbone to take on such a task. This is why we continue to be doomed.
He should ask how Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had gotten too big and expensive for tax-payers - Bwahahahahahaha!
Shut up.
That is all. Carry on.
Who's watching the kids?
