THE MORONS

That's right, I said THE MORONS who voted for George W. Bush because he was a guy they thought they could enjoy having a beer with, have got exactly what they deserve: an incompetent, corrupt MORON-in-Chief. With "heckuva job Brownie" we discovered his underlings are cut from the same cloth. Now we discover that the first test an administration applicant must pass is theocratic.

By the way, don't forget that the "librul" media was part of this campaign to demonize elites. Al Gore and John Kerry were skewered by the media for being too stiff, too serious -- just not as much fun as Dubya.

Are we having fun yet?

Junking Up a Thread on Elizabeth Edwards

by whining about Coulter's remarks being "mischaracterized" is just lame. No matter how cleverly Coulter couches her remarks, the point is obvious and it is always hateful and disgusting. It says a lot about you when you actually spend time defending such a waste of a human being, and none of it is good.

The vile Coulter's remarks about John Edwards are part of the effort by all of the right-wingnuttery to swiftboat him. As other commenters have noted, the republicans are most afraid of Edwards as the Dem nominee. He is the most electable.

I'll vote for Clinton if she is the Dem nominee, but Edwards/Obama is the winning ticket.

And, Elizabeth Edwards is an inspiration! What a woman.

Original article: Run, Dick, run

On 7/6, Ricky Santorum said (on Hugh Hewitt's show)

...between now and November (2008), a lot of things are going to happen, and I believe that by this time next year, the American public's going to have a very different view of this war, and it will be because, I think, of some unfortunate events... doo,doo,doo-doo; doo,doo,doo-doo (Twilight Zone)

You think the wingnuts don't have plans? Huh? They got plans, and a Cheney/Santorum ticket is not so far-fetched.

Meanwhile, the Dems fiddle while the wingnutnation makes plans.

When you don't have a conscience

what difference does the death of a few thousand American soldiers, and untold thousands of innocent Iraqi's make? Bet it's not even a blip on Karl's radar.

Original article: The Rush and Rove Show

I heard this scintillating conversation

between the drug-addled Limbaugh and the psychopath Rove. I laughed, I cried, I puked.

Tweety on Hardball showcased my favorite part of the discourse -- when Rove referred to the Chimp's critics as "elite, effete snobs". Of all the mind-boggling hypocrisies of the rightwingers, I'm most amused and astounded when they begin tsk-tsking about all those hateful lefties and their "Bush derangement syndrome". Lemme see, they've been hating on the Clintons since the 1992 campaign, right? So these two clowns lament the hateful lefties and then launch into hating on Hillary Clinton. HUH?

The Reps/Cons hate the Clintons because they interrupted the permanent majority they thought they had after Ronnie's eight years, and then of course there was that BJ in the Oval Office between two consenting adults.

The Dems/Libs criticize the Bushies because they started an unnecessary war, allowed New Orleans to drown ...... oh hell, I'm not gonna review all the lowlights of the Bush reign. We're all too familiar with the incompetence and corruption of the last 6+ years. I think the Dems/Libs have the moral high ground in this hatefest.

somegirls...

I read about this at Jesus' General also, and like Lynn Harris, The General couldn't get it out of his mind, as he revisited it several times.

I gotta say, the General's coverage was so funny I couldn't stop laughing.

Anyway, I figured if that's what these women want, fine with me, but I think it's pathetic. It's that ole' authoritarian mindset rearing its ugly head. Some people will never grow up. Who's your Daddy?

Here's a shocker

Last night (8/24) on Hannity & Colmes, Hannity fully supported his friend Ted Nugent despite being pummeled by Colmes and Bob Beckel. The asswipery displayed by insanityhannity was breathtaking.

You know that IOKIYAR.

Thompson's pollster is a silly man

Dem's haven't been more vocal about Craig's problems because when your opponents are busy hanging themselves, you don't interfere, you get out of their way.

I have some sympathy for Sen. Craig, aside from the hypocrisy factor, but I gotta admit I'm enjoying the implosion of the repubs. The despicable Tommy Delay was on Hardball last night trying to spin this situation by listing every Dem controversy in the last 50 years (as if that corrupt scumbag has any room to talk). What Tommy and the other right-wing punditry is missing is that IT'S THE HYPOCRISY, STUPID! And, it's making them nuts when the hypocrisy of their party is pointed out. What seems to escape them is that if you are going to preach against an action while involved in that action yourself, then when you are exposed, you are going to be called a HYPOCRITE, because that's exactly what you are.

Keep on yappin' repubs. Watching your party go down the toilet (pun intended) is great entertainment.

Original article: Larry Craig's comeback?

Bad Day for McConnell

Wouldn't you have loved to have been a fly on the wall when Minority Leader McConnell learned that Senator Craig was not going to skulk off into the darkness?

Maybe Craig can't make that guilty plea disappear, but why should he allow his fellow hypocrites to just throw him under the bus? Not one, single "compassionate conservative" expressed any concern for Senator Craig at a time when he could've used some compassion, so why should he make it easy on them?

Make em' throw you out Larry, and ask em' why they're not forcing Senator Vitter out.

You think it's possible

that the General heard from the White House about that earlier answer, and how he better figure out a way to get the right answer on the record?

Oh, and thanks so much Senator Bayh for being just another Bush enabler.

Give 'em hell, Harry?

Majority Leader Reid's skills at persuasion and negotiation are somewhat lacking, wouldn't you say?

I suggest he try blackmail and threats like George/Dick.
