Bush & McCain - Dumb & Dumber
[Read the article: McCain's amazing Iraq somersault]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Every time I hear John McCain and George W Bush talk about "war" and "consequences" I am absolutely amazed their comments are broadcast in the media as if there was an ounce of credibility left in either of these mental midgets.
When President Knumbnuts quoted Sen William E. Borah yesterday, an Idaho Republican from 1938 who wanted to have talked further with Adolf Hitler to avoid war, does any sentient being honestly believe Senator Borah looks more foolish than George 'WMD' Bush?! Is there any greater indictment on our feckless media that Bush feels confident he can beat his chest and cast aspersions on other people's incredibly MINOR errors, knowing he will be free from any attacks by the MSM for his own incomparable, catastrophic idiocy that has cost this nation it's reputation, it's moral standing in the world, and the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent people whose deaths are due to ENTIRELY to his and Cheney's incompetence and shocking stupidity?
Listening to McCain and Bush talk about foreign policy, war, and predictions for the future – as if their track record wasn’t 100% one of naiveté, lack of foresight, and consistent foolishness – is like listening to a pyromaniac talk about fire prevention.
At this point - with the wall of protection the mainstream media has put around both Bush and McCain to keep them safe from any harsh, realistic scrutiny of their atrocious decision-making - those most to blame for allowing Bush and McCain to continue to make speeches without being physically thrown off the podium, are their mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging, supporters.
If John McCain, with his track record of being consistently wrong and endlessly flip-flopping on the issues, gets ONE vote for president from someone whose not a military contractor or in the top 1% of the wealthiest Americans, then that person is actually more idiotic and thick-headed than both Bush and McCain combined!

The Modern Masking of White Supremacy
[Read the article: High standards at the Washington Post Op-Ed page]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I heard the N-word used frequently by young and old alike. When I moved to the NYC area, I never once heard the N-word. I originally thought New Yorkers were more open-minded and tolerant of racial diversity. I soon discovered, however, that the same level of racism was there as in Philly, but the language was used in way to masquerade it. Seeing a label such as "blood equity" is a reminder of how modern day white supremacy is attempted to be hidden by today's elite, highly-educated, white supremacists. Just as David Duke did when running for congress, these people have thrown away their white robes and n-words in favor of modern 'white-supremacy-talk'. "Blood equity" and "heritage" are perfect examples.
And, as far as Parker's thoughtful piece, "All Democrats Be Faggots", the only president in US history who ever gave unfettered access to the White House to a gay, male prostitute (Jeff Gannon) was Republican George W Bush. If a Democratic president, and not a Republican president, had given unfettered access to the White House to a gay, male prostitute, it would have been the defining story of that administration. But because it was George W Bush, a he-man who likes to play dress-up soldier and dance around in a pirouette on battleships, it's dismissed out of hand by our media as completely irrelevant. And really, who seriously doubts when Jeff Gannon and George Bush got together behind closed doors they did something other talk over political matters. They're both such burly, studious, heterosexuals as everyone knows.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]"My point was, none of this is new. People tend to think we have always reached a new low, and we haven't, the same sh*t, or just a different version, gets shoveled out every election cycle."
If I can field this one, Glenn never said it was "new". He's covering it because, as with the Edwards garbage the mainstream media spewed, it's outrageous behaviour that is completely one-sided against Democratic candidates and accepted inside the beltway and by the top media outlets in America.
It's not "new" to have wars started on lies that caused tens of thousands of innocent deaths (it's not even new to have a Texas idiot overseeing a war started on lies), does that mean it shouldn't cause outrage and be editorialized?

"Voice of All the Jews"
[Read the article: Are the Jews good for Barack Obama?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's always hysterical to read the letters from crackpots like ShawnWM and jpincus who have no shame and will mindlessly spew the most vile, toxic, radical rightwing fringe nonsense as the "Voice of All the Jews".
If they have "troubling concerns" about Barack Obama being "Muslim", it's not because they're as Goddamn dumb as a bag of hammers and don't read anything other than rightwing racist hate-speech on the Internet. No, no no! They're the "Voice of All the Jews", and "All the Jews" want to know why Obama goes to a Muslim church with an angry Christian preacher(!) "All the Jews" want to know why Obama keeps dodging questions about his ties to Hammas! It's Obama that's out of touch, not the "Voice of All the Jews!"
Also, Joe Lieberman isn't bugfuck insane! No, no, no! He's a moderate who simply wants the United States to commit a holocaust against the Iranian people, incinerating all 71 million people. He is simply espousing the moderate "Voice of All the Jews".
These are the same imbeciles that help maintain the 23% approval ratings for George W Bush, and no more reflect the "Voice of All the Jews" than the Pope does!
