Original article: Super stuck!

maybe this will make it easier......

Clinton's camp pounced on surveys Thursday showing her beating Republican candidate John McCain in November.

Quinnipiac University data showed her beating McCain 49 to 41 percent in Florida, and 48 to 38 percent in midwestern Ohio. She also topped McCain by 51 percent to 37 percent in Pennsylvania, another bellwether state.

Obama, by contrast, trailed McCain 44-43 percent in Florida, also by a single point in Ohio.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Indiana finds Clinton attracting 46% of the vote while Obama earns 41%.

A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 30% of the nation's Likely Voters believe Barack Obama denounced his former Pastor, Jeremiah Wright, because he was outraged, 58% say he denounced the Pastor for political convenience.

strike 2

the first attempt to smear hillary today was from the piece "what did mickey kantor really say?" which is all innuendo about a bill clinton ex aide.

now we have this left handed attempt which disguises itself as a defense of blumenthal.

you get 1 more try.

from washington post

Obama's newest attempt to save himself after Wright's latest poisonous performance is now declared the new final word on the subject. Therefore, any future ads linking Obama and Wright are preemptively declared out of bounds, illegitimate, indeed "race-baiting" (a New York Times editorial, April 30).

On what grounds? This 20-year association with Wright calls into question everything about Obama: his truthfulness in his serially adjusted stories of what he knew and when he knew it; his judgment in choosing as his mentor, pastor and great friend a man he just now realizes is a purveyor of racial hatred; and the central premise of his campaign, that he is the bringer of a "new politics," rising above the old Washington ways of expediency. It's hard to think of an act more blatantly expedient than renouncing Wright when his show, once done from the press club instead of the pulpit, could no longer be "contextualized" as something whites could not understand and only Obama could explain in all its complexity.

Turns out the Wright show was not that complex after all. Everyone understands it now. Even Obama.

with friends like Obama who needs the GOP?

Since beginning his campaign Obama has offended/alienated: gays, jews, italians, rural americans, religious people and gun owners.

Perhaps most telling is his treatment of his close friend and spiritual advisor Rev. "god damn america" Wright, who's only crime was repeating the same comments he has been making to Obama for the last 20 years. But now that most of America has heard and rejected them, Obama has rejected the good reverend. This is how the great, moral Obama repays his closest friends, by abandoning them when they are most in need? So much for the politician who runs a "different" kind of campiagn.

Ferraro was absolutely correct, without Obama's blind support from the African American community there is no way he would still be in this campaign. Just because 90% of the African American community is willing to follow Obama off a cliff doesn't mean the rest of us Democrats are.

If Obama cared at all about the Democratic party he would withdraw now.

ridiculous article

The reason 90% of the black vote goes to Obama is racism pure and simple. Blaming Hillary is absolutely ridiculous. It is somewhat understandable after the way Bush has treated New Orleans, etc. I understand that many would like to see a black president as some sort of poetic justice but that is no reason to vote for someone.

When Bill Clinton was president he received record black support and was even called "the blackest president". Then Obama joined the race and overnight 90% of the black vote went to him.

If you can't see the racist at play here then you are truly blind.

ONLY IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY DO YOU HAVE TO DEFEND A TAX CUT

Look, no one is claiming this price break will fix the oil problem. But it takes congress months to form their committees and let every politician give their input, etc. (especially in an election year) before a bill even comes up for a vote. So we can spend those months just waiting or we can spend them waiting but with a small break in the price of gas. I know which one I would rather do.

The fact that Obama doesn't appreciate this is just another example of his elitism and highlights yet again that he does not have the experience to lead a nation.

Original article: Fox News and the Democrats

we don't live in a vacuum

as much as everyone would like to ignore fox news (like obama ignores florida and michigan) the people who watch it will be voting in november (like the people in florida and michigan).

re: Obama's charge that only gas station owners will save money

That has got to be one of the most simplistic and glib responses I have ever heard.

As another reader pointed out the price of fuel effects everything from food to shipping to travel and all the industries and people that rely on them.

Yet another example of Obama's inexperience.

Monday, May 5, 2008 01:09 PM

what republican would dare vote against it?

i can see the ads in november....

john mccain wants to cut your taxes and save you money.

barack obama voted against cutting your taxes, don't vote for a tax and spend elitist liberal.

bush would of course veto it but it would still be one hell of a campaign commercial.

and the democrats wonder why they always lose?
