Obama gives our tax revenue to child molesters and superstitious bigots

Since he not only continued Bush's faith based fraud but actually expanded it, Pope Obama continues his war on our civil rights.

How nice in these dire economic times Pope Obama chose to give our tax revenue to someone who:

• In remarks two years ago at the university where he formerly taught in Germany, the pope unequivocally equated violence and Islam, setting off a political storm through the Muslim world.

• Three days after Christmas 2008, he declared that saving humanity from homosexuality was just as important as saving the rainforest from destruction.

• In January, he revoked the excommunication of four schismatic bishops who, as members of the Society of St. Pius X, refused to accept the teachings of Vatican II; one of the bishops had made a career of denying the existence of Nazi gas chambers and genocide, and persevered in his claims even after Benedict had brought the four back into the Roman Catholic Church.

• While Jews around the world expressed their disbelief and took offense, Pope Benedict this week precipitated another international storm by appointing as Archbishop of Linz, Austria, the Rev. Gerhard Maria Wagner, known for his statements that Hurricane Katrina was divine retribution for the sins of New Orleans’ citizens; that the Harry Potter novels were “satanic”; and that homosexuality was curable.

I can not think of a more blatant violation of the second amendment than giving United States tax revenue to churches.

Either Pope Obama is the dumbest law professor ever or he has no problem putting his personal superstitious beliefs (oh sorry, religious beliefs) ahead of the constitution and all of our civil rights.

and maybe Obama won't increase military spending by $40 billion

and maybe Obama will not increase spending on corporate welfare,

and maybe Obama won't give more of our tax revenue to churches,

and maybe Obama will pull our troops out of Iraq,

and maybe you will stop trying to justify Obama's horrible decisions.

The best is when the $780 billion corporate welfare bill is called socialism

when in fact it is the opposite of socialism.

Just ask the only socialist in our government, you know the one who voted no on it.

randron I wish!

I often think we would all be better off dividing into 2 countries.

The south can have guns, god, and slaves.

The north can have health care, civil rights, and education.

Who will stop organized religion from raping us?

In the strange case of alleged Ponzi schemer Allen Stanford, a new bit player has emerged. It’s an evangelical answer to YouTube, and you’ll never believe the anti-lust videos.

The case of alleged Ponzi schemester “Sir” Allen Stanford, the Texas billionaire, has rocked over 50,000 customers who fear they may fallen victim in what SEC charges is an $8 billion fraud. One of the more interesting bit players to surface is a website called Godtube.

Many of Godtube’s users are like 26-year-old Marlon Hines of Farmington Hills, Michigan. When Hines wanted to take his self-authored “prayer against lust” to the public, he chose to post it on Godtube instead of the better-known online video sharing giant YouTube. Tens of millions of users may visit YouTube each month, but its more modestly trafficked, religious spin-off guaranteed Hines something no other website could: an audience of like-minded conservative Christians eager for jeremiads against sexual immorality.

“Oh, lust be rebuked,” Hines bellowed in his Godtube video. “Homosexuality be rebuked. Lesbianism be rebuked in the name of Jesus. Masturbation be rebuked in the name of Jesus. Not even dry humping, lord God! Not even any masturbation of any kind, lord God! Not even fondling in the name of Jesus! Not even excessive hugging, lord God! Not even molestation in the name of Jesus. I cast all of these to hell in the name of Jesus.”

Stanford's pals

Top politicians are scrambling to distance themselves from well-connected financier Texan financier "Sir" R. Allen Stanford, who stands accused of defrauding investors of $8 billion through an Antigua-based securities scam. The list begins with the commander in chief himself, President Obama, who donated the $4,600 in campaign contributions from Stanford to charity on Wednesday. His former campaign rival, Senator John McCain, is doing the same for $28,150 from Stanford. Other top recipients include Senator Ben Nelson ($45,900) and Rep. Pete Sessions ($41,375). Other politicians may have a tougher time separating themselves from Stanford, who plied a number of lawmakers with jet trips to tropical locales and other perks.

corruption won't end until we get rid of all the democrats and all the republicans

and have a government that represents the people and not corporations or organized religion

How do we get rid of Holder?

The reason many of us are "cowards" about race is because if we criticize a black person we are either: sued, shot, or slandered as a racist.

Some pastors made a decision, Obama better carry out their orders!

CHICAGO – A Chicago minister told The Associated Press he and other black pastors who previously supported U.S. Sen. Roland Burris now plan to ask him to resign. The minister spoke Thursday on condition of anonymity because a meeting with Burris hadn't yet been scheduled.

Many of the city's black pastors supported seating Burris because of his scandal-free reputation — even though he was appointed by then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich after the governor was arrested.

But revelations that Burris attempted to raise money for Blagojevich while seeking the Senate job have eroded some of his support. Blagojevich is accused of trying to sell the Senate appointment.
