Not having universal healthcare certainly hurts businesses

however other companies manage to prosper so why is it the auto makers always need bailing out?

It's called helping the country

I know that's hard for Obama and his supporters to understand since they only do things that benefit Obama.

Dean/Pelosi/Reid supported nearly everything Bush did

including giving him a free pass on illegal wiretaps yet somehow only Hillary is to blame???

Obama's first moves.....

record corporate welfare, letting Lieberman retain his chairmanship, refusing to repeal Bush's tax cuts for the rich....you tell me?

Oh and for the record, Clinton raised taxes on the rich and reduced them for the lower class. That is how you balance a budget and get the economy moving again not through record corporate welfare and tax cuts for the rich.

first???? I can name at least 6 others

He'll run a "differant kind of campaign" so he smears the Clintons as racist and uses private money after promising he would use only public funds.

He will bring the troops home from Iraq by the end of the year.....well maybe not.

He was against offshore oil drilling but changed his position after seeing his poll numbers slip.

He was against taping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve then came out in favor of it.

He pledged to rescind Bush's tax cuts but now says he would delay rescinding President Bush's tax cuts on wealthy Americans if he becomes the next president and the economy is in a recession, suggesting such an increase would further hurt the economy.

He said he was against FISA and then in typical Obama style changed his position.

Feinstein = Lieberman

We can thank her for approving all of Bush's most right wing reactionary judges too!

reverse discrimination LOL

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – Gay rights groups and newspaper editorials on Tuesday condemned the Vatican for its decision to oppose a proposed U.N. resolution calling on governments worldwide to de-criminalize homosexuality.

The row erupted after the Vatican's permanent observer to the United Nations told a French Catholic news agency the Holy See would oppose the resolution, which France is due to propose later this month on behalf of the 27-member European Union.

Archbishop Celestino Migliore said the Vatican opposed the resolution because it would "add new categories of those protected from discrimination" and could lead to reverse discrimination against traditional heterosexual marriage.

What did the big three do with the first bailout?

They cut their workers salaries, they reduced their medical benefits, and received several other concessions from the workers.

Meanwhile upper management bought more corporate jets, closed plants in the US and opened them in other countries.

You have to be a complete moron or as corrupt as they are to give them one more dime of corporate welfare.

Evidently not paying taxes, actually receiving tax money to spread their prejudiced views

and taking rights away from minorities isn't enough for organized religion.

Why doesn't Obama use some of his $750 million to bail them out?

President-elect Barack Obama brought in nearly $750 million for his presidential campaign, a record amount that exceeds what all of the candidates combined collected in private donations in the previous race for the White House, according to a report filed Thursday with the Federal Election Commission.

Mr. Obama, who became the first major-party nominee to bypass public financing since the system began in the 1970s, spent more than $136 million from Oct. 16 to Nov. 24, the period covered in the report. By comparison, his Republican opponent, Senator John McCain, who was limited to the $84 million allotted to him from the Treasury under public financing, spent $26.5 million during that time, according to his latest campaign finance report. Although Mr. McCain had $4 million left over, he had $4.9 million in debt, the report said.
