This idiotic notion that Lieberman can be punished if he gets out of line

Lieberman actively campaigned for the Republicans!

You can't get out of line anymore than that.

I guess he could dig up Obama's dead grandmother, maybe that would do the trick?

Wednesday, November 19, 2008 08:02 AM

yeah thats right Confucius

Obama has reneged on every promise he has made during his campaign but it's Hillary's fault.

Bill Clinton, the only Democratic president to actually stand up to the Republicans and face them down over the federal budget is the one who started the Democrats decline? Kudos to him for "trashing welfare" (now the Democrats are pushing corporate welfare instead) and giving us the lowest crime rate in 50 years.

It's quite simple......Obama believes in winning at all costs but many of us don't believe in the "ends justifies the means" philosophy or his religious dogma.

"I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman." (From the Human Rights Campaign's 2008 Presidential questionnaire) - Barack Hussein Obama

Wouldn't it be nice to have a president who put civil law above religious law?

Lieberman is the very definition of Judas

so you encourage Obama to treat Richardson as a phariah but have no problem with him rewarding Lieberman for far worse acts?

Maybe their against it because...

1. Detroit has been bailed out before and upper management retired with obscenely large retirement benefits while the company closed plants and shipped the jobs to Mexico or other countries.

2. They already got $25 billion to "modernize" from the Energy bill but instead they made suvs.

3. They make inferior products that people don't want.

4. It is against our own economic interests to subsidize poorly run corporations.

Lieberman cheated on his wife (the democratic party)

what makes you think he won't cheat on his mistress (obama)?

Wednesday, November 19, 2008 09:30 AM

Wile E. Coyote.......super genius lol

Let's not forget the backdoor.....Bush's faith based initiative which gives tax money to churches regardless of who they discriminate against or what political agenda they promote.

Obama reneged on everyone of his promises before he even took office

He'll run a "differant kind of campaign" so he smears the Clintons as racist and uses private money after promising he would use only public funds.

He will bring the troops home from Iraq by the end of the year.....well maybe not.

He was against offshore oil driling but changed his position after seeing his poll numbers slip.

He was against taping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve then came out in favor of it.

He pledged to rescind Bush's tax cuts but now says he would delay rescinding President Bush's tax cuts on wealthy Americans if he becomes the next president and the economy is in a recession, suggesting such an increase would further hurt the economy.

He said he was against FISA and then in typical Obama style changed his position.

When Obama promised "change" I didn't realize it meant changing everyone of his positions.

Wednesday, November 19, 2008 12:23 PM

Bush's abandonment of "fiscal conservativism" didn't exactly win any votes either

It's a great irony that Democrats are pushing for record corporate welfare while it's the Republicans who are against bailing out all of corporate america.

Obamaland: dissent is not allowed

unless your joe lieberman

Speaking out of both sides of their mouth

When Obama was running for the nomination we were told he was a differant kind of politician, an idealist who promised change and would shake up Washington.

Now these same supporters are spewing forth the idea that we have to be realistic and pragmatic.....as the new boss proves more and more everyday that he's the same as the old boss.

I thought the babyboomers were the fastest, it only took them 20 years to go from hippies to yuppies and 20 more to create this financial nightmare we are in.

Obama managed to sell out before he was even inaugurated.

Original article: Trust Obama on Clinton

"I only think so if Barack Obama thinks so"

way to check your brain at the door like the rest of the Obama supporters!

Thursday, November 20, 2008 06:21 AM

the absurd logic of obama supporters

They admit Obama needs to go to past Clinton appointments to find competent people yet they choose Obama over Hillary!

Evidently it's ok to have no experience as president but you better have some to be in the cabinet.

If this isn't the pot calling the kettle black

Newt Gingrich stated: "I think there is a gay and secular fascism in this country that wants to impose its will on the rest of us, is prepared to use violence, to use harassment.

http://mediamatters.org/items/200811170014

There is no other organization in the world who has used violence and harassment to impose it's will more than the Christian church.

If the Democrats had actually stood up to Bush instead of giving him everything

he wanted this might be an issue.

But considering Bush's free pass on illegal wire taps, his illegal detention of people in Guantanamo Bay, and his lies about the war, why would he even hesitate on pardoning whomever he wants?

It's not like there are any consequences to his actions.

Original article: Trust Obama on Clinton

It's easy to see why the christians love obama so much

Christians give up all personal responsibility by believing in a mythical "God", they stop critical thinking and do what the church tells them.

"I only think so if Barack Obama thinks so"

"Obama is smarter than us"

"We should just trust Obama"

Same pathology as the Obama supporters.

Must be nice to live in a world free of decisions and responsibilities.

it's Orange County, Calfiornia! LOL

Thursday, November 20, 2008 10:26 AM

hey UAW, still glad you voted for Obama?

don't worry, the Democrats are coming with $25 billion in corporate welfare to give to your bosses so they can buy more corporate jets and continue building factories in Mexico.
