DOMA will never get repealed with the homophobic Obama as president

During his Senate run in Illinois in 2004, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is said to have declined to have his picture taken with San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who was in the center of a national turmoil over his decision to allow same-sex marriage in the city.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday that the snub took place at a fund-raiser hosted by former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.

"I gave a fund-raiser at (Obama's) request at the Waterfront restaurant," Brown told the Chronicle. "And he said to me, he would really appreciate it if he didn't get his photo taken with my mayor. He said he would really not like to have his picture taken with Gavin."

While the Obama campaign has denied the rumors, Newsom's staff has corroborated the event.

Then we have Obama's hate tour through the American south early in his campaign featuring:

Reverend Donnie McClurkin who said he's "in a war with homosexuality",

and anti semetic Hezekiah Walker, the Pentecostal pastor of Brooklyn mega-church the Love Fellowship Tabernacle,

and Mary Mary (a sister act duo) who have compared gays to murderers and prostitutes.

Now we have Prop. 8 winning because 70% of the black vote in California was in favor of it, here is a direct Obama quote:

"I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman." (From the Human Rights Campaign's 2008 Presidential questionnaire) - Barack Hussein Obama

Obama is no friend of the gay community and never will be.

As gays we need to stop automatically giving the Democrats a blank check every election, especially when they clearly do not support our equal rights. Demand they fight for our rights everyday (not just when it is politically convenient for them) or no money.

Homophobic describes Obama better than either of those

The Era of Corporate Welfare

Since the Democratically controlled congress gave Bush $760 billion in corporate welfare to "bail out" wall street. Now Pelosi and Reid want to give the auto industry a few more billion.

or

The Era of Homophobia since gays lost the right to marry in California thanks to Obama and 70% of black voters choosing to discriminate.

"I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman." (From the Human Rights Campaign's 2008 Presidential questionnaire) - Barack Hussein Obama

PS wouldn't it be nice to have a president who put civil law above religious law?

Now we have the Obama effect

the removal of equal rights for gay people in California.

To the gay community:

Our next move as a community should be to stop all donations to Obama or the Democratic Party as a whole. It is the only way to show our refusal to be discriminated against without shooting ourselves in the foot by voting Republican.

If you have a local or state politician who consistently supports our rights than please donate to them directly but we should not give anything to the party itself.

Why on earth would you give money to someone who said:

"I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman." (From the Human Rights Campaign's 2008 Presidential questionnaire) - Barack Hussein Obama

Stop blaming the victim Joan

"Hillary backers were too busy blaming sexism for her failure".

It was Obama and Edwards who turned the Democratic primary negative by attacking Hillary, when she defended herself she was smeared a racist along with Bill.

Stop trying to rewrite history.

Obama is a political opportunist who did whatever it took to win, whether it was discriminating against gays or smearing a former president as racist.
