Numbers don't lie, it's obvious who is to blame

Now we have discrimination enshrined in the California constitution thanks to the blacks voting for Proposition 8.

From the CNN web site:

Vote by Race

White yes 47% no 53%

African-American yes 70% no 30%

Latino yes 51% no 49%

Asian yes 47% no 53%

Other yes 50% no 50%

To the gay community: Next time you vote or donate money remember this fact, 70% of black voters chose to discriminate against you.

It is clear who our enemies are and don't ever forget it.

"I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman." (From the Human Rights Campaign's 2008 Presidential questionnaire) - Barack Hussein Obama

PS Wouldn't it be nice to have a president who put civil law above religious law?

The new boss is the same as the old boss

The gay community is the first to get sold out when elections roll around and the democratic leadership begins their cowardly retreat from the religious right.

The facts:

During his Senate run in Illinois in 2004, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is said to have declined to have his picture taken with San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who was in the center of a national turmoil over his decision to allow same-sex marriage in the city.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday that the snub took place at a fund-raiser hosted by former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.

"I gave a fund-raiser at (Obama's) request at the Waterfront restaurant," Brown told the Chronicle. "And he said to me, he would really appreciate it if he didn't get his photo taken with my mayor. He said he would really not like to have his picture taken with Gavin."

While the Obama campaign has denied the rumors, Newsom's staff has corroborated the event.

Then we have Obama's hate tour through the American south early in his campaign featuring:

Reverend Donnie McClurkin who said he's "in a war with homosexuality",

and anti semetic Hezekiah Walker, the Pentecostal pastor of Brooklyn mega-church the Love Fellowship Tabernacle,

and Mary Mary (a sister act duo) who have compared gays to murderers and prostitutes.

Now we have Prop. 8 winning because 70% of the black vote in California was in favor of it, here is a direct Obama quote:

"I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman." (From the Human Rights Campaign's 2008 Presidential questionnaire) - Barack Hussein Obama

Obama is no friend of the gay community and never will be.

As gays we need to stop automatically giving the Democrats a blank check every election, especially when they clearly do not support our equal rights. Demand they fight for our rights everyday (not just when it is politically convenient for them) or no money.

RE: gays and blacks

Very few of the gay black men I know are out and that is because the black community is dominated by an extremely bigoted religion. The fact that 70% of blacks chose to discriminate by voting in favor of Prop. 8 speaks for itself.

Claiming gays are more racist is absurd.

When is the last time you heard of gays going around physically attacking black people

or

a gay musician writing a song promoting violence toward blacks

or

a gay athelete saying he doesn't want to be in a locker room with blacks

or

gays voting to take away the right of blacks to get married.

You haven't because while the black community has done every one of the above the gay community hasn't done any of them.

It means gay people in California lost the right to marry

thanks to 70% of blacks voting in favor of Prop. 8

Since the gay rights movement did not start until Stonewall 1969 in the US

gays were still in the closet during the black civil rights movement of the early 60s because they were persecuted as bad or worse than the blacks.

Churchs are buildings and cannot vote

so blame lays with the people who physically filled out their voting form and voted.

"I do not begrudge priveleged gay white men their marriage"

Another example of black prejudice against gay people.

the privileged statement implies that all gay people are rich white men.
