east coast vs. west coast

When 911 happened I was living in Southern California. I remember being shocked and horrified by the images on tv. It was truly horrific to watch. However within a week or two it began to fade in my mind and I became more concerned that my electric bill just tripled because of Enron.

Hillary Clinton however was representing the people of NY and they were: scared, frustrated, and angry. So when President Bush presented evidence (via Colin Powell) and a proposal to go after those responsible for the attack on NYC of course she voted yes, I would have to. However President Bush lied to Congress, he lied to America, and he lied to Hillary Clinton. Instead of going after Bin Laden, Bush attacked Iraq.

Now some Democrats try to blame Hillary for Bush's betrayal.

Or expect her to apologize for Bush's betrayal.

Hillary did nothing wrong with her vote for the people of NY and has nothing to apologize for.

I for one hope she never does.

what happens when the media reports the truth about obama

instead of just fawning all over him....

The March 14-18 Gallup national survey of 1,209 Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters gave Clinton, a New York senator, a 49 percent to 42 percent edge over Obama, an Illinois senator. The poll has an error margin of 3 percentage points.

ridiculous article

This article is absolutely ridiculous.

The media will do anything to spin stories in Obama's favor.

Thursday, March 20, 2008 03:49 PM

a real news story

In case anyone is interested in real news:

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton unveiled a second economic stimulus package on Thursday. Clinton called for new steps to address a deepening housing crisis, including a $30 billion emergency fund to help states buy foreclosed properties and provide mortgage restructuring.

more to come.......

Just wait until the Tony Rezko trial begins.

Friday, March 21, 2008 06:52 AM

who cares?

Hillary already has the Hispanic vote locked.

As for the 3% of Democrats who supported Richardson in the primary, I'm sure they will be thrilled.

hypocracy

Now we have Rice apologizing to Obama lol

It's nice to finally see some civility in politics but it's more than a little hypocritical.

Can you imagine Cheney telling Obama to "go fuck himself" on the Senate floor?

Friday, March 21, 2008 07:57 AM

More hypocracy

from the Bush administration.

How many years now has Waxman and others been fighting for files and information from Bush about: the environment, the oil companies, the firing of US attorneys, etc. Bush can't even find the emails.

Yet he's already managed to fire two people over this incident.

Now we have Rice apologizing lol

Can you imagine Cheney telling Obama "go fuck yourself" on the Senate floor?

Friday, March 21, 2008 09:05 AM

trust

ask Tony Rezko about trust.

Friday, March 21, 2008 09:07 AM

from this very site

Mar 21st, 2008 | WASHINGTON -- Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has told Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton that her passport file was breached in 2007.

Hillary Clinton leads

Hillary Clinton leads in the Electoral College vote and the popular vote.

Obama leads in the baffling caucus vote. Who came up with the rules for caucus voting in the first place?

Friday, March 21, 2008 09:25 AM

thats the Bush mantra

the more incompetent you are, the further you go

Friday, March 21, 2008 09:28 AM

where's her apology

and what two people will be fired for it?

Friday, March 21, 2008 09:36 AM

and the same is true of NAFTA

"none other than Woodrow Wilson, the president who signed the Federal Reserve Bank into law, (an act that he did not regret!) knew that incremental progress was our best hope."

Friday, March 21, 2008 11:07 AM

The president is elected by the electoral college

Not some bizarre caucus system that only the people who created it understand, whoever they were?

If you add up the electoral votes from the states Hillary won you get 219 , Obama has 202. If you add Michigan and Florida for Hillary that gives her 263.

She has a better change of winning the REAL election.

Friday, March 21, 2008 11:09 AM

typo

has a better chance of winning, not change

Friday, March 21, 2008 11:26 AM

al gore won the popular vote but lost the election......

because he did not win the electoral college vote.

Friday, March 21, 2008 11:28 AM

apples to oranges

comparing the results of the democrats in the primary election via the electoral college is comparing apples to apples.

comparing a caucus vote to a non caucus vote is comparing apples to oranges.

Friday, March 21, 2008 11:50 AM

Complain all you want about the electoral college

but until something else comes along we have to deal with it.

I'd rather have the candidate who does the best in that kind of election (whether you agree with the system or not) and thats Hillary Clinton.

Friday, March 21, 2008 03:19 PM

more Obama bias from the media

John McCain was supposedly dead too

Friday, March 21, 2008 06:32 PM
Original article: Expel, expelling, expelled!

the evolution of stupidity

but what more would you expect from someone who wrote for nixon and ford.

Saturday, March 22, 2008 06:44 AM

and you know he doesn't "generalize about a typical white person" because......

the good reverend wright told you or because every time someone criticizes him he cries racism?

Sunday, March 23, 2008 06:40 AM
Original article: Various items

obama's ties to religious extremists

First we have Obama's hate tour through the south featuring:

Reverend Donnie McClurkin who said he's "in a war with homosexuality",

Hezekiah Walker the anti-semitic Pentecostal pastor of Brooklyn mega-church the Love Fellowship Tabernacle,

and Mary Mary (a sister act duo) who have compared gays to murderers and prostitutes.

Then we have Reverend Jeremiah Wright with his infamous "God damn America" remark.

For someone who claims to be about peace and reconciliation Obama sure likes to surround himself with hate and intolerance.

Sunday, March 23, 2008 06:52 PM

and they have no one to blame but themselves

for such an illogical and undemocratic way of selecting an nominee.

except maybe the people in the 70s who came up with this farce of a vote.

Sunday, March 23, 2008 07:02 PM

the obvious answer

Use a nomination process that is the exact same as how the REAL presidential election is held.

The winning candidate of each state gets all the electoral votes from that state. Whoever gets the most electoral votes obviously has the best chance of winning.

NO DELEGATE SPLITTING AND NO OPEN PRIMARIES.

Inviting the opposition party to vote in your own primary has got to be one of the dumbest ideas I have ever heard.

Monday, March 24, 2008 08:16 AM

editorial ignorance

Lieberman isn't acting any different now than he has been for the last 8 years.

That paper, like much of the media, is so biased it can't see it's own prejudices.

Monday, March 24, 2008 12:32 PM

more hypocritical obama comments

When it's suggested that being black has helped him with

this campaign he denies it and claims being black

doesn't help anyone in this country (or goddamn

country if you prefer).

Then when it's suggested being black is going to hurt

him in the real presidential election he objects.

So is it a hinderence or not? He can't have it both ways.

Obama lies when it suits him.

For all his talk of change and running a "different kind of campaign"

he and Edwards have run the two most negative and slanderous campaigns

against a fellow Democrat I have ever seen.
