one person who is NOT invited to the convention, Detroit Mayor Kilpatrick

LANSING, Mich. - Democratic candidate Barack Obama doesn't want the embattled mayor of Detroit on hand when Obama accepts the party's presidential nomination in Denver.

A spokesman for Obama said Thursday that Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick would be a distraction if he goes to the convention as a superdelegate.

If the Obama supporters would stop attacking Hillary for one second they might realize

she has done nothing but support him for the last few weeks.

As for us "sniping supports" sorry but when one candidate smears another, gets bias media attention, and buys the delegates he needs in a corrupt caucus system.....we get a little upset.

Happy Days???? LOL

Obviously you haven't been reading the letters at this site.

But I know thats standard Obama operating procedure.....say a lie long enough and people will believe it.

If Democrats ever want to win the presidency again they need to

scrap the corrupt and undemocratic caucus voting system.

Since it's creation in 1972 the Democrats have lost every election but 3.

Why even have an election?

Just declare the richest candidate president.

It's what happens anyway.

Obama in love with Obama?

What a surprise LOL

Friday, August 15, 2008 09:06 AM

I guess it's not enough to buy the Democratic delegates anymore

now they are trying to buy voters.

It's almost as bad as Obama's (Bush's) rebate scam.

More Obama sleaze

Aug. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Democrat Barack Obama would wait at least a decade to impose the Social Security payroll taxes on Americans who earn more than $250,000 a year, a main component of his proposal to keep the retirement insurance system solvent.

Deferring a new levy on higher income taxpayers also would allow Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, to largely dodge immediate political and economic repercussions of the proposal.

So now Obama is trying to take credit for this idea even though he flip flops on it then wants to delay if for 10 years!!! LOL

our candidate.

Original article: The Democrats get religion

yeah we know what kind of religion Obama likes

Rev. "God Damn America" Wright.

And Obama's infamous hate tour through the American south featuring:

Reverend Donnie McClurkin who said he's "in a war with homosexuality",

anti semetic Hezekiah Walker, the Pentecostal pastor of Brooklyn mega-church the Love Fellowship Tabernacle,

and Mary Mary (a sister act duo) who have compared gays to murderers and prostitutes.

Frisco Bunny

How exactly is fund raising by using bigots helping to end homophobia?

I highly doubt Obama began every evening by denouncing homophobia and then said let's welcome Reverend Donnie McClurkin and Mary Mary.

Oh, Obama was reaching out

I thought he was benefiting personally from someone else's hatred and intolerance. Glad you cleared that up.

Do you get a halo when you make an Obama donation? to make it easier to be self righteous?

ps I'm the most hated of all, an atheist. I don't need someone else to tell me what is moral, I can decide for myself.

Why do we even have a first amendment?

The idea of a seperation of church and state in this country is laughable.

A church gets to host a meeting between the two presidential candidates, not much of a seperation there. They tell their members who to vote for, benefit from every service the government provides, get money from the government to spread their own agenda yet don't have to pay any taxes.

Thats a sweet deal!

Picking Gore is "gutsy" ? LOL

The man who was elected president by popular vote but had it stolen is speaking to his own party's convention and this is "gutsy" ???

Some other gutsy Obama moves: brushing his teeth, going to Hawaii, speaking to the press.

debunk this

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama's solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll.

Obama hypocrisy

Michigan and Florida were initially stripped of all their delegates for violating the rules. The delegates were reinstated in May, but given only half votes. Since Obama has wrapped up the nomination, he has asked that they receive full voting rights.

obama's (bush's) tax plan

On the campaign trail, Sen. Barack Obama bashes President Bush for "reckless" economic policies that are "mortgaging our children's future on a mountain of debt." But the Democratic presidential candidate has adopted a key component of Bush's fiscal policy: A novel bookkeeping method that guarantees that the $9.5 trillion national debt will get much bigger.

When Obama promises to cut taxes for the middle class without increasing the deficit, he is measuring his proposals against the large deficits that would result from Bush's plan to extend his signature tax cuts beyond their 2010 expiration date. Because Obama wants to eliminate some of the Bush tax cuts, he would bring more money into the Treasury, permitting him to pay for new programs without increasing the deficit even more.

But under current law, all the tax cuts expire and the deficit disappears completely. Democrats in Congress have vowed to preserve the Bush tax cuts only if they can cover the cost and keep the budget in balance. Measured against current law and against the promises of his fellow Democrats, Obama would rack up huge deficits. According to a recent analysis by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, Obama's tax plan would add $3.4 trillion to the national debt, including interest, by 2018.
