Obama's free pass with the press
[Read the article: Some free advice for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Thank you very much for this article.
I am so sick of the free pass the media has given Obama.
If they spent half as much time investigating him instead of slandering Hillary the Democrats would have a much easier time defeating McCain.

Henry Kissinger
[Read the article: It's 3 a.m. Who do you want answering the phone?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If the standard for comparison is Henry Kissinger...we're in serious trouble.
-
now they are sleepwalking through the election
[Read the article: How the press failed on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]By giving Obama a free pass it's obvious the press hasn't learned a thing.
-
Obama is no differant
[Read the article: Obama says Clinton ad "straight out of the Republican playbook"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Just because Obama is black it doesn't make him any different than other politicians.
Do the words Clarence Thomas and Condolizza Rice ring a bell?
-
compare and contrast
[Read the article: Obama camp targets Clinton experience claims]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]We can compare Obama's experience to Hillary's oh wait, he doesn't have any.
-
how obama's run his campaign
[Read the article: Obama camp targets Clinton experience claims]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama has done nothing but attack Hillary because he does not have any accomplishments or any proposals of his own to discuss.
-
wikipedia as a factual source
[Read the article: Obama camp targets Clinton experience claims]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]may i suggest you find a different one

"can obama learn to attack"
[Read the article: Hillary's race against time]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't know where you have been for the last 6 months but that is all Obama has done in his campaign.....attack Hillary and Bill Clinton.
He has no platform of his own so he has used negative tactics from the beginning.
If the Democratic Party does split you can thank him and Edwards.
-
can't wait
[Read the article: How did Harold and Kumar get to Gitmo?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I loved the first movie and can't wait for this one.
Keep up the good work guys!
-
one big difference
[Read the article: I don't believe in atheists]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]atheists don't kill people for having different beliefs
-
Obama's double standard
[Read the article: Michaels denies "SNL" is pro-Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Typical of the double standard that has been coming from Obama.
The media has been in an absolute swoon over him, fawning over his every word and never reporting anything negative about him.
The idea that this might come into the national debate sends him immediately into attack mode, which is where he has been this entire campaign.
Criticize Obama and your automatically a racist, talk about the media in a critical way and your automatically a Clinton supporter.
-
obama needs to cool it with religious extremists
[Read the article: Obama and Clinton plan to cool it]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Following Obama's hate tour through the American South featuring the gay bashing headliners:
Reverend Donnie McClurkin who said he's "in a war with homosexuality",
Hezekiah Walker the Pentecostal pastor of Brooklyn mega-church the Love Fellowship Tabernacle,
and Mary Mary (a sister act duo) who have compared gays to murderers and prostitutes,
we now have Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
An investigation by ABC News into dozens of Reverend Wright's sermons found repeated denunciations of the United States, based on what he said is its past treatment of black Americans.
"God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme," Wright was quoted as saying in one outburst.
Which is the real Obama, the one who surrounds himself with these kinds of religious extremists or the candidate for President who now denounces them?
Sorry this is somewhat off topic but Salon, like most of the media, seems to have a hard time posting anything critical of Obama.

inaccurate primary election
[Read the article: Memo to Clinton and Obama: Stop spinning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Here's the problem folks.....Obama is leading in a caucused primary election but guess what, the presidential election is not caucused. So not only is it foolish to think the results will transfer equally it's incredibly risky.
Not to mention that most states have an open election so the opposition party has tainted the results....thats why so many states have set voting records because Republicans have been voting in the Democratic primary election.
What Democrat came up with these 2 idiotic ways to have a primary election?
If you add up all the electoral votes from each state that the candidates won Hillary has 219 to Obama's 205, if you add Michigan and Florida that gives Hillary 263.
It's obvious to me who has a better chance of winning, Hillary.

God damn America
[Read the article: The difference between Jeremiah Wright and radical, white evangelical ministers]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Actually Glenn I think Reverend Wright saying "God damn America" offends people more than saying America got what it deserved with 911.
-
only if the media reports it
[Read the article: The crazy uncles in Obama's attic]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]and i wouldn't count on that

dem vs. rep
[Read the article: The crash in Republican economics ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Bill Clinton left the country in the best economic shape it has been in since WWII and within 8 years Bush and his Republican congress turned it into the worse economy since WWII.
Didn't take them long.
-
more obama empty promises
[Read the article: Obama's speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama says one thing and then does another. Remember how he wasn't going to run a negative campaign? He has done nothing but attack Hillary for months.
He's just another inexperienced, arrogant, religious fanatic.
He's George W. Bush in Democratic drag.
-
distracting pretty words
[Read the article: Obama's speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm glad Obama was able to make you feel all warm and fuzzy with his pretty words.
Meanwhile the economy is on it's way to another great depression and violence levels in Iraq are back to their usual carnage levels.
But we have Obama's great words about race and religion to distract us.
I'm sure they will be of great comfort to everyone that lost their homes.
-
media too busy
[Read the article: War? What war?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The media has been too busy glorifying Obama to notice anything else.
-
i did read the text
[Read the article: Obama's speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]i did read the text and obama gave us what he always gives us, vague promises of change that mean nothing.
no concrete economic plans or foreign policies. he has had months to come up with these but prefers to attack his fellow democrat instead.
-
debaser
[Read the article: Obama's speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]i was responding to an earlier post that implied obama addressed the issues of the economy and foreign policy in this speech.
-
can't have it both ways
[Read the article: Obama's speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]either this speech was about race and religion (so my post about distracting pretty words applies) or it did include economic and foreign policy issues (so my post about obama not having economic and foreign policies plans applies).
-
and before the grammer police arrive
[Read the article: Obama's speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]i know i used the word policies when i meant policy
-
racist grandmother
[Read the article: Obama's speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]old people are the most racist people i know!
