I am so sick of the free pass the media has given Obama.

If they spent half as much time investigating him instead of slandering Hillary the Democrats would have a much easier time defeating McCain.

If the standard for comparison is Henry Kissinger...we're in serious trouble.

We can compare Obama's experience to Hillary's oh wait, he doesn't have any.

I don't know where you have been for the last 6 months but that is all Obama has done in his campaign.....attack Hillary and Bill Clinton.

He has no platform of his own so he has used negative tactics from the beginning.

Typical of the double standard that has been coming from Obama.

The media has been in an absolute swoon over him, fawning over his every word and never reporting anything negative about him.

The idea that this might come into the national debate sends him immediately into attack mode, which is where he has been this entire campaign.

Criticize Obama and your automatically a racist, talk about the media in a critical way and your automatically a Clinton supporter.

we now have Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

An investigation by ABC News into dozens of Reverend Wright's sermons found repeated denunciations of the United States, based on what he said is its past treatment of black Americans.

Which is the real Obama, the one who surrounds himself with these kinds of religious extremists or the candidate for President who now denounces them?

Sorry this is somewhat off topic but Salon, like most of the media, seems to have a hard time posting anything critical of Obama.

Here's the problem folks.....Obama is leading in a caucused primary election but guess what, the presidential election is not caucused. So not only is it foolish to think the results will transfer equally it's incredibly risky.

Not to mention that most states have an open election so the opposition party has tainted the results....thats why so many states have set voting records because Republicans have been voting in the Democratic primary election.

What Democrat came up with these 2 idiotic ways to have a primary election?

If you add up all the electoral votes from each state that the candidates won Hillary has 219 to Obama's 205, if you add Michigan and Florida that gives Hillary 263.

It's obvious to me who has a better chance of winning, Hillary.

Bill Clinton left the country in the best economic shape it has been in since WWII and within 8 years Bush and his Republican congress turned it into the worse economy since WWII.

Obama says one thing and then does another. Remember how he wasn't going to run a negative campaign? He has done nothing but attack Hillary for months.

Meanwhile the economy is on it's way to another great depression and violence levels in Iraq are back to their usual carnage levels.

But we have Obama's great words about race and religion to distract us.

i did read the text and obama gave us what he always gives us, vague promises of change that mean nothing.

no concrete economic plans or foreign policies. he has had months to come up with these but prefers to attack his fellow democrat instead.

i was responding to an earlier post that implied obama addressed the issues of the economy and foreign policy in this speech.

either this speech was about race and religion (so my post about distracting pretty words applies) or it did include economic and foreign policy issues (so my post about obama not having economic and foreign policies plans applies).
