Learn About Why Health Care is Expensive

Health care is not expensive - health insurance is expensive.

Go to Minn. - the only state. in the union that requires health insurance companies to reveal how they spend your premium dollar: $.15 to doctors; $.20 to hospitals; $.65 to insurance company overhead! Oops - any problem here?

Question: Would you pay a third party administrator when you buy your cable service, or your phone service? Then why in the world do you pay a third party (insurance companies) to buy health care?

What is the answer? Buy your health care directly from the provider - doctors, labs, imaging centers, physical therapy companies, surgeons, mental health providers - THEY WILL NEGOTIATE THEIR FEES - because they do it with every procedure with the insurance companies.

Apply fee negotiation to economies of scale and you can reduce health care to affordable levels.

CDC numbers indicate that 86% of all medical interaction takes place outside of the hospital (dr offices, labs, and imaging) and the chances a non-senior ending up in the hospital is less than 1% per year.

Buying your health care directly from providers also eliminates co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and exclusion of pre-existing conditions. None of these things are the inventions of medical providers - they are all the results of health insurance companies.

Oh, and ask any medical provider about insurance codes for the various procedures they provide - you will get an earfull.

High health care cost is not a political issue, its an economic one that is politicized to protect insurance companies.

And another thing to consider in all this - the law: 1) One is not permitted to sue an insurance company - they are exempt by law, and 2) medical providers are not allowed to organize like unions. Now I wonder how that benefits Old Joe and the rest of the US population? Sounds like someone has a great set of lobbyists!

Learn the facts friends - we do not need universal health care - we need affordable health care. Those who chose not to buy it will always be with us - we already care for the indigent and the Seniors.

One last thing that will reduce the cost of health care - treat every illegal alien once - aprehend them in the emergency room and deport them to their home country once they are healthy. That will greatly reduce the strain on our hospital system as well. (Please excuse my politics)

Any questions? Email me at urbiznet@gmail.com

Oh, and watch New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware in the coming days - you may see health care done right.

Make the fools Pay With Their Jobs

Yes - make the fools pay with their jobs!

And let us be clear who the fools are - let's name them!

Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and "The One" along with the House & Senate.

They gave our money without stipulation or restriction!

They paid out funds with out due diligence - for those of you without a clue - that means they did not review AIG's contractural obligations.

They sign legislation without reading it - which of you would buy a house without reading the terms & conditions of the note & mortgage?

The afore - mentioned have committed fiscal treason against "We the People" and they did it knowingly - that's called colusion or racketeering which is why we have RICO.

Yes - make them pay with their jobs ~ vote them out!

Perfect Timing!

Does anyone find it odd - Our administration is poised to make major changes in the fabric of our society.

Our President goes to the G20 Summit and the world holds its collective breath to see the global cooperation that is promised to ensue.

Next the White House announces the much vaunted universal health care initiative that has historically been so very difficult to achieve.

Then a foray to Mexico for diplomatic fence mending.

And "Viola" (excuse my French) - a universal pandemic (yes I know its redundant)! Mexicans are dying in droves (if a drove is defined as about 250 souls)and only in Mexico are they dying so often.

Yet the world reacts with masks and swine-o-cide in far flung corners of the globe.

Oh, and the focus of our attention is no longer on our terrible world economic situation which was caused by the US and for which our President did so elequently apologize with or without his telepromter.

Congratulations Oval Office - your health care plans are so timely - so right as the antidote for our masked fears of pigs that fly (swine flu).

Personally, I am going out to buy me a pet - a pot belly pig and an ultralite so I can really say I have "swine flew" - my new pets intended name.

Dear Swine Flu

You are blaming the Jews? I hope you intent is sarcastic and you don't believe what you posted!

Rahm Emmanuel may be behind some of this but I do not believe his heritage is to be faulted - I'm sure his political position has eclipsed his theology.

And please remember, for the Oval Office, Chicago is far more important and influential than is Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
