The McCain/ Palin rage over a well spoken, well education, young black man is what started it all. They spoke out of turn on so many occassions teetering on the brink of racism and when called out on it "Rep. John Lewis, a Georgia Democrat and veteran of the civil rights movement, says the negative tone of the Republican presidential campaign reminds him of the hateful atmosphere that segregationist Gov. George Wallace fostered in Alabama in the 1960s.", tried to publicly have Sen. Obama appologize for remarks that were on target and by another senator. Watching McCain try to look sheepish at Obama when asking him to appologize was THE moment of the last debate. The McCain/Palin camp is so out in right field they can't see the forrest for the trees.
It was just a matter of time before people began this type of thing, but wait, "A George Fox University employee discovered the life-size cutout of the Democratic presidential candidate hanging from a campus tree with a fishing line around its neck." it's really just a long list of issues that have happened and the McCain/Palin camp doesn't do much to decry any of it.
When rabble-rousers begin it's hard to get them to stop, unfortunately it's McCain & Palin themselves who are doing it.
"When are McCain and Palin going to acknowledge this bitch's crime?
And, the more important question is, why on Earth would they CALL her to offer their sympathy when everyone else figured out it was a lie? This shows that McCain and Palin are stupid, and unqualified to seek higher office"
They vetted this story the way they did Joe the NON-plumber and the way McCain vetted Palin, very loosely if at all.
In New Mexico they are strong arming the latino population, especially older women. http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/10/is_new_mexico_gop_lawyer_hirin.php
It's disgusting and they should be up on charges. Thanks to ACORN their rights are being upheld.
Sen. McCain seemed like a cat on a hot tin roof. The part where Brokaw showed McCain discussing about his agreement with Bush and McCain responds with "Now, I know how it is on this show. You show various segments and comments that we make thousands of, and I understand that. But the fact is I am not George Bush. The fact is that I was not popular within my own party." It was not spliced or doctored and were his words; not even taken out of context as he's done recently with Sen. Biden's words. I don't see the maverick in the least, especially when he says he agreed with Bush over 90% of the time. He asked Sen. Obama for an example also, well why would Sen. Obama necessarily disagee with anyone in his party if he feels they were basically on track?
He said "I was not popular with my party", maybe because he's not really a republican and just goes against his party to get recognized as a Maverick? "McCain is a "maverick" – the media encomium reserved for Republicans who reject important Republican principles" George F. Will of the Sacramento Bee Seems to have hit the nail on the head. If you don't believe in the principles where is the integrity in taking a Republican post? I'm not sure what he means that he's been tested. Many of our military are and were. He has not been tested as president or "in this seat" the same as he claims about Sen. Obama.
He is losing, running scared and doesn't realize that one of his main problems was naming Gov. Palin who although holds an executive position has less experience then Sen. Obama. She's not able to discuss any of the real issues. She's only able to read or reiterate the smear literature that they've sent out.
The reason she has the Barbie ID is because people see her as an air head or as Kissinger said "an empty vessel" (as he does with anyone he feels is an intellectual subordinate).
Why do they think they know McCain? He has lied and flip flopped through it all. When his back is against the wall he pulls out half truths to uses parts of sentences, most recently, Biden's comments about being tested.
The Red Cross worker who thinks Palin ran the country should read what people in the office said, Todd was the one in control she was the talking Barbie just pull her string. She didn't raise the children, others do and did. The only part that is true is that she's female. So am I and I know I can't run the country any more then she's capable.
I understand the wardrobe & make up shouldn't be an issue, but a person can't put on a facade and not have it fall down on them. She claims she didn't know. Being uninformed about what's going on around you, when you're in that position, is not acceptable.
Anyone who sits in "that seat" is going to be tested no matter who they are. No one knows McCain either, but we have seen his anger and contempt that someone should challenge him. He didn't have the gonads to go after Hillary in the same way because he knew she was part of the old guard so to speak. Well, Obama has his guard too as McCain is experiencing. Obama doesn't have to hire people to pretend to be attacked by a Big White Man as McCain did. McCain & Palin have pushed for a new racial divide, note the skin heads who REALLY were going to abuse and murder. What has McCain said about either of those instances? Palin, did she address it? I haven't seen words from either of them. They are the ones behind this, maybe not directly but from their negative campagning.
