And these are also her words -- and actions

“Well, in fact, George, I think that we should be looking to create an umbrella of deterrence that goes much further than just Israel. Of course I would make it clear to the Iranians that an attack on Israel would incur massive retaliation from the United States, but I would do the same with other countries in the region.”

What she's saying-- and admits she's saying-- is she wants to form a nuclear umbrella around ALL of our allies in the region.

That would include Saudi Arabia and Iraq. This is a HUGE deal.

Now I don't know about you but I'm not willing to go to war with Iran over Iraq or Saudi Arabia. She is.

This is like when they started talking about establishing a "major presence in the Middle East" or building "permanent bases in Iraq." People skipped over those things at first too.

Couple that with her vote on the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment and yeah her record is THAT DIFFERENT from all other politicians in America. It's scary different.

She has a constant refrain of war on Iran. I don't know how many ways she can tell people this and they just keep not wanting to believe it.

Well fine they didn't want to believe Bush would build permanent bases in Iraq either. They ignored him when he gave a speech on "pre-emptive war." Foreign policy statements are a BIG deal. They have huge reprecussions. Unfortunately the American people have a sad pattern of simply ignoring them. That's how we get in wars. And if we're in another one with Iran in the next 4 or 5 years we have one person to chiefly thank for that: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Sexism ad nauseum

Again we didn't see all of these so-called "fighters for injustice" standing up when 1 in 5 people in Ohio admitted they wouldn't vote for a black candidate.

And check this out from Andrew Sullivan:

"In February I was a 55 year old white woman trying to choose a candidate, feeling drawn to Hillary. Then I listened to Obama speak and I was inspired. I felt as I had not felt since March 16, 1968 (my 16th birthday) when Bobby Kennedy announced he was running for president. So I chose Obama and volunteered to help his campaign.

I canvassed in my local area, Dresher. As I spoke to my neighbors, my heart sank. Several people told me the country wasn't ready for a black president. One person right out said he would never vote for a black person for president. (Stunned, I stammered that he was only half black.) One person said "the blacks get everything already." Three of my Jewish neighbors (and friends) said that they believed Obama either was a Muslim or had Muslim ties."

If violence against one is the mere standard of "ism" outrage (frankly I have "ism" fatigue but whatever) then surely African-Americans have every bit as much reason to stand up and scream as anyone.

I'm not bothering to respond to the poster who said she wants "white children to have white role models and black children to have black role models." That's beyond idiotic, clearly racist, and her kids probably have half a dozen black role models they're just smart enough not to tell her about.

Yet we don't see every post going over this ad nauseum.

Also I'd be interested to hear some of you tell the Iraqi women who have lost their daughters and sons, mothers, grandmothers, sisters and others to this horrific war Hillary CHOSE to help authorize how you're somehow "fighting sexism" by putting into power someone who is showing strong signs of doing the same things to the men and women of Iran, merely because she is female.

My guess is they'd laugh at you.

Paul Krugman's been a Clinton hack from the beginning

This is like me writing "Jonathan Alter wants to know why Hillary Clinton is losing."

Krugman's mad because he got shot down by a bunch of intelligent Obama supporters about 3 months back where he was proven to be wrong and (much like a certain editor here with regards to her bias towards Hillary Clinton) was unable to bring himself to admit it.

Here's a comment from a writer on Ben Smith's blog that pretty aptly sums it up:

"Krugman needs to get over himself. He has been shot down by the NEWS section of the Times, the Washington Post and the Concord Monitor. Quite simply, he is WRONG on mandates. In any event, could someone ask a REAL health care economist what they think--I suggest starting with Krugman's Princeton colleague, Uwe Reinhardt."

You can read about the whole Krugman-Obama back and forth there, but suffice it to say they have a history, Krugman's on record as saying he strongly dislikes Obama personally, would never vote for him, can think of nothing positive he (Krugman) would have to say about Obama and hates all of his economic proposals. We're not exactly talking about an impartial source here.
