Why won't the Clinton supporters answer the plagarism charges?

You've been given a dozen instances of where she ACTUALLY plagarized, including "It Takes a Village" and you won't answer them.

You want another example, how about tonight, in her stirring closing remarks.

"Several readers, and Obama's staff, heard an echo in Clinton's closing line, that the candidates on stage would be "fine."

Clinton Tonight:

You know, whatever happens, we're going to be fine. You know, we have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we'll be able to say the same thing about the American people. And that's what this election should be about.

Edwards the December 13 debate:

What's not at stake are any of us. All of us are going to be just fine no matter what happens in this election. But what's at stake is whether America is going to be fine." (This is from Ben Smith on the Politico.com not me so don't go charging ME with plagarism too.)

Now for the final time, can Hillary supporters please explain to ANYONE here why it is ok for Hillary Clinton and EVERY OTHER politician on the planet to borrow lines from each other without asking, but it is not okay for Barack Obama to borrow a line, that he asked and was given permission to from a friend who has the SAME campaign manager, to do so? For crying out loud we don't even know if David Plouffe suggested Obama use the quote, and whether or not he was the one who wrote it for Patrick in the first place. In which case you would be essentially arguing he plagarized himself.

I'm scared for AKA's students

AKA wrote, "That is really all I want to hear people say."

And all we REALLY WANT TO HEAR YOU SAY is to admit that Hillary plagarized as well. I'm glad that everybody else is going for this goody-goody nicey-nice crap but you 're holding people to a double STANDARD. Admit that Hillary plagarized or really refute the charges.

And yes having a ghost writer, uncredited, is most definitely plagarizing.

What really scares me is the fact that you are a college professor. And you say 15% of students are trying to plagarize. I don't doubt that but if YOU'RE the one trying to fail them out I weep for the future. Please, PLEASE for the sad state of American education in this country learn what plagarism ACTUALLY IS before you fail out any more students. To be honest it really fuckin PISSES me off. Bright young people's futures and lives are in your hands and you're deciding their fate based on some odd, twisted warped sense of plagarism and gender politics you have. STOP IT NOW!

And please, for the love of God, do not bring perceived sexism into your decision to try and charge or defend students against this as you have Hillary. Otherwise no male student at your college stands a chance. And they wonder why the youth vote is riled up against the same old politics as usual?

Give me a break

This is the most undemocratic crap I've ever heard of in my life.

Shhh

It's almost as if Mr. Greenwald didn't read the talking points given him by Clinton campaign. Don't you know Hillary's supposed to be the tough one? She keeps insisting Senator Obama will simply roll over for the Republicans. Silly little things like the fact Obama has already defended himself effectively agains the Republicans aren't supposed to get in the way.

On a more serious note: great article. And I completely concur with the other posters Obama is handling this just right. Respond, but don't overreact. Lay out the facts before the public, show them the Republican miscues, how they try to wrap themselves in the fla, and let the public make up their own mind.
