Who Would Jesus Bail Out?

I am not impressed by Mr. Obama's support of this bill. I want to see him show more backbone and stand up to his campaign contributors and tell them that, yes they will have to pay back this money and give up control until they have their houses in order. They WILL be audited by the GAO (at their own expense by the way) and NO they don't get their equity back until they pay back ALL of the loans. NO, they can't have their big fat salaries and retirement bonuses if they can't guarantee retirement for anyone else in their companies!!!

If the rich don't like it, tough. Let someone else buy them out and absorb that debt.

I banked with Wamu on Friday and today I'm a JPMorgan Chase customer without having to blink an eye. Obviously there's cash out there to sweep up a bargain or two. Let these bankers fall and see what it's like to travel Greyhound because the corporate jet had to be sold.

Obama will get his middle class votes by reigning in those who have been playing fast and loose with everyone else's money. Even the christians would have to come onboard. All we're asking for is some corporate responsibility and an equity stake in the money loaned. It's a lot less than their Jesus would expect in return. Jesus wouldn't be bailing these guys out, he'd make them rot in a pit of their own making. He'd fill their palaces with the poor and turn their private enclaves into gardens to feed the hungry. That would be socialism and only the rich receive socialized assistance in this country.

The Dems Aren't Innocent In This Matter- WE NEED TO ACT NOW

Even though most of this was done by a Republican Congress, the Democrats never met a gravy train they did't climb onboard. They're all in it together and need to solve it together.

WE the people need to step up to the plate and tell these bastards that ENOUGH is Enough! The rich can go fend for themselves. If they have assets, someone will cover them. If they're a liability, deal with it.

Congress needs to rip apart that bad bankrupcy law, enact some relief and reform for the middle class WHO ACTUALLY PAY their salaries and will eventually be paying for this bailout. Contact your Congressperson and Senators and TELL them to take care of the middle class first. There will still be a write off, but if people are able to keep their homes with mortgages they can actually pay, the writeoff becomes less and the mortgage becomes a healthy asset rather than a lost cause.

This may be the last time the middle class has such leverage over Congress. We have them by the balls, make them decide whose side they're actually on: We the People, or They the Rich. Then vote out those on whom we cannot count.

Silly People, It's ALWAYS Bill Clinton's fault

Don't you know by now that even if it began on the Reagan watch, it's always Bill Clinton's fault?!? Living in Repugnant Republican OC you get this all the time from people. Fox News, CNN, Rush, O'Reilly, our local OC Register, all are quick to blame the Clintons-especially 'devil spawn' 'Slick Willy' for all their ills. According to those who subscribe to this logic, Saint Ron Reagan never made a bad economic decision, rebuilt the military, and made life so much easier for the middle class....Slick Willy on the other hand, gave us NAFTA, took jobs out of the US, tied the hands of corporate America....even though Slick Willy gave Newt Gingrich and the REPUBLICAN controlled congress everything he wanted and then more.

Somehow they forget that Newtie was running the show with his 'Contract On America', I mean Contract For America. They're all to blame. WE need to tell them how to fix it and VOTE them out in the next few weeks if they don't.

The Angry Confused Masses

Now that their pensions are in jeopardy, the Sleeping Seniors are waking up and asking what's going on? They're the ones believing all the crap the right throws out because these seniors are the only ones left watching network news. Network news is doing it's usual schtick of presenting what it wants and not showing the whole picture. Just as these seniors and naive gawkers still believe Saddam was behind 9/11, they are going to be duped into thinking this is not a Republican problem. They're being told it's been caused by everyone BUT the Republicons. It's Bill Clinton's fault, it's the Democrat Congress' fault, it's everyone's fault but BushCo. The teflon President scores another coup among seniors. They're screaming save our pensions and the rest of us whipper snappers be damned (as usual). If Washington gives into these screamers instead of helping those of us who actually work and NOW pay for these things, the rich will have won, the country will be theirs and the seniors will have sold out their own children without even realizing it.

Condi Rice Says she likes Gwen's cooking

which made me unhappy she associates with Bushies. Now this horrific shock suprise.....NOT!

This is more BS from a group of people so pigheaded and stubborn they can't admit to being wrong. Period. They can't admit to being wrong about the war, the economy, about choosing Palin, about none of it. Let them all move to Texas and be done with them.

Tell them NO to this deal

I've already written to my greedy war profiteer who hasn't met a Bush doctorine she didn't like-Senator Dianne Feinstein and told her to do her job right and stop putzing around on this. This is still not reform, this is still not relief for mortgages and it is still not bankrupcy reform. All it's going to do is help rich people and throw a bone to a handful of others to keep the masses quiet. Several publications have already said this is just a Republicon move to make their constituents think they won't have to pay for this. Talk about Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves!!!!
