musn't be because the media doesn't say anything about it. They're too busy kissing McCain's ass.
Polls say this, polls say that. America loves Evita, I mean Sarah, Palin more than they love Obama or McCain. My 88 year old mother thinks Palin's great but when asked if she really wants this woman in charge of her retirement and medicare, does she think this woman will represent America well to the rest of the world, she says well I don't want Hillary in charge. When asked about Obama, she's not sure about him. O'Reilly hasn't fully convinced her he's the devil incarnate as he has with Hillary. People don't know what they want and you can't rely on polls. Period.
That describes the state of this nation to a tee. While I'm sure there are many issues with which I disagree, Lynette Clark is right about this.
George Whore Bush, John McCain, the Republicans AND Democrats have been stuffing their mattresses for years......By taking on the partnership with McCain, Palin has sold out also.
Evita McCain, I mean Sarah Palin, is just getting ready to head up the mantle left by Dick Cheney. After all, she's going to have to go out and schill for this administration after the stupidest people on the face of the earth elect her and McCain. She'll take her gun on the road and do an Annie Oakley act, shooting skeet and telling the liberals in the crowd this will be them after she and her 'guy' are through shredding what's left of the Constitution.
Mr. McCain and Evita haven't said a word about this, neither has Mr. Obama or Mr. Biden, or Ms.useless Pelosi or Mr. Reid. Wonder why? maybe because they're all sucking at the teat of the oil beast, getting their share.
is going to do anything but kiss her ass and eat moose stew. Big media has their consultants and lobbyists working in McCain's camp, why would they be tough on Evita? They love her, they adore her. She brings ratings to the networks, why ask tough questions? She deserves her own series. Put her on the View. Our political system has become a very bad joke.
Yeah, sure the media is fair and impartial. Anyone wanting to ask Juan and Evita McCain about anything relevant is just swept away. All the big entities, the NYT, WSJ (now owned by Rupert Murdoch)and of course the networks can't kiss the duo's behinds enough. It's like they're going to be censured or taken off the list for the best seats at the innauguration ball. But then that's America to me now. The rich have won and will continue building their facist state with the new power couple.
will carry on and continue the legacy that has been established by the Whore House and it's occupants during the past 8 years. The facist state will grow and prosper under them, the rest of us are just SOL.
We're now in 'phase 2' of the worst economic meltdown since the Great Depression and people are talking about lipstick on Sarah Palin and confusing her with a pig or some other creature. The media is not just complicit, it is deliberately hiding facts and deflecting any meaningful discussion of the future at hand. Instead we learn that Tina Fey is playing Evita McCain on SNL and Brad and Angie and blah blah blah. It's time to turn off the network news. Do to it what has happened to newspapers. Shrink their ratings, tell their pollers you won't watch until they actually present real news. When the ratings sink through the floor, they might give us a 5 minute blip of reality. After much sensationalizing and hoopla of course.
Juan and Evita (Sarah Palin) McCain don't have to commit to any position as long as the media gives them a free ride by presenting inuendo as outrage. As long as people are stupid enough to buy into this stuff, no one has to deal with real facts.
To paraphrase Mae West in 'My Little Chickadee': "1+1=2, 2+2=4. 5 will get you 10 if you know how to work it."
Subtraction? Say the City of New York has 32 million dollars in a pension fund, the Republicans take away all controls and the fund is left with 420,000. Boys, that's subtraction!
And these are the same people who want to get their hands on Social Security!?!?!?!? And those same Republicans would let them in a heart beat. Rat bastards all.
Palin was going to address the fact that women face arrest and punishment for not dressing properly in Iran. She fails to point out that the Saudis, a group included in Bush's Friends and Family Plan of globalization, is equally as repressive. Women just recently got the right to drive a car, as long as a male family member is with them of course. Grandstanding and cheap publicity. A soundbyte to feul the right wing talk shows. They'll have plenty more opportunities.
