Original article: Fox News responds

How Many More

right wing radio pundits are going to keep using this for Michelle Obama now that Fox has sanctioned it? We know Fox and CNN among others love to keep throwing out stuff like this and then backpeddle by saying 'bad anchorperson, we told them not to do it gosh darn it.'

It's just another example of racist thought and how much it permeates society. Fox News wouldn't dare call Maria Shriver Arnold's Baby Mama during a similar segment, yet they relish in calling Michelle Obama names. It is bad sportsmanship, bad journalism, and fits a pattern of subtle racist behavior. It's Fox News pure and simple.

I don't watch Fox News so I don't know who advertises on it, I can barely take CNN, but I wrote Proctor&Gamble and General Foods expressing my outrage at this continued racist behavior by the media and urged them to pull their ads from Fox News. I figured they were such big companies, they must have ads all over the place on that channel. I'll hit the auto makers and Johnson & Johnson as well. Pressure from the people paying their bills is the only way to get them past this.

Not Just Ordinary Hunters

RICH hunters!

Why else would a commission be formed unless a bunch of rich bastards with guns complained that they can't take their trophies back home on their private jets? Would they form a blue ribbon panel to do this for Pop and the guys driving up in the Minivan? I think not.

No Other Conclusion

This country is doomed. The rich don't pay their fair share of taxes and one way or another they dupe their patsies in Congress into opening up the coffers and give them more.

Obama is selling out to the rich and big media. McCain has already been bought and paid for.

We're fucked no matter who gets elected.

Original article: Obama: "My plan for Iraq"

That 'Opportunity' Will Crash

If we abided by a timetable, if we tried to work with the Iraqis in withdrawing sooner, the CEO's of Blackwater, Northrop, GE, Haliburton, Bechtel, and the Carlyle group would all jump from buildings because their cash cow would be cut off in this time of recession created by them and their brethern in the mortgage/finance industry. They'd have no more ill gotten gelt for their stockholders and their golden parachutes.

The war machine can't just grind to a halt. There will be no money coming into the Dem and Repug coffers. Ending the most expensive dog and pony show in the history of mankind would mean no cash for the politicians to blow the smoke over the American public's eyes. This is one cash cow that can't and won't die, even for Mr. Obama. Too many people are getting rich off it. The only thing left is the drug and human traffic trade. Those gigs are already taken by other politicians and CEO's.

Let Em Drill

I live in California and have been opposed to this for many years. Now that the rich are trying to privatize every beach they can get their greedy hands on, let the oil companies drill offshore.

Hell, they're not our beaches anymore. Let them have their multi million dollar views of drilling platforms. Of course when they're in front of wealthy enclaves, they're disguised as tropical islands lest property values sink. So let them have their private beaches and oil islands. If there is a spill, it will leak onto their yachts and exclusive playgrounds where they'll hire illegal aliens to clean it all up with FEMA money.

Yes They Have Succeeded

The Bush family has succeeded in getting very rich off this war. I'm sure those who were vacationing with them are also making bank off this war. So of course McCain is sniffing for cash in Maine.

Let's see, who has cash to throw away these days? People who have cash managed to attain that gelt, in many cases, by less than honourable means. Like having a son who lied and manipulated Congress into sending us into the most expensive war in the history of mankind.

Those Writers Need to be Laid Off

Jeez, it's always the nut jobs and fanatics who manage to keep their jobs when things are going bad for the industry.

How many more times will Obama be compared to Hitler by the fanatic right I wonder? It's ironic because those Nazis would have been right at home at a Young Republican convention. I say the Young Republicans because all they want to do is party hardy while spending mom and dad's money, spew hate, and have clandestine gay sleep overs.

The Very Rich Don't Just Do Nothing

Pickens knows McCain is a liability. Obama has very strong ties to Agri-business. The only way corporate America will be able to rebuild the economy in this country is to literally get the place in better shape, infrastructure wise.

He knows that it will still be a monumental battle to drill offshore in California. Lawsuits on top of lawsuits. Everyone from the Sierra Club to attorneys facing views of oil derricks from their multi million dollar homes will be suing to stop this. Gubernatorial candidates will be pushed and bullied by locals, wealthy campaign donating locals, not to support offshore drilling.

Pickens just made a major investment lasoo-ing the powerful winds of Texas. Wind Farms mean big TAX BREAKS and potential big profits. Why piss off a future president Obama by backing a hack who has no idea what the hell he's doing when you can make investments in an industry the Dems are sure to claim as 'their territory'? If Pickens makes an actual donation to Obama's campaign, it means he's being backed by rich Repugs. That's a scary thought.
