Cynthia McKinney is the Green Party candidate this year. I will probably end up voting for her unless there is a chance McCain will take California..... She is THE ONLY candidate who has an agenda I like, but my odds of winning the lottery are better than those of her getting elected. However, her points of view about the war, the causes of the war, and the accountability of this administration need to be kept alive but she probably scares the daylights out of Salon so they too will ignore her.

Republicans have been gaming the Democrat primaries whereever they could. Getting loyal Republicans to cross over and vote for Hillary so they can keep her in the race, people like Rove and Rush have skewed the numbers so much that it's anyone's guess. The Dems, however, are still their own worst enemy. They'll fuck things up far more than any Repub operative could. I'm really more concerned over their leadership than anything else. If Hillary runs against McCain, I'm throwing my vote to Cynthia McKinney on the Green Party. Something we should all be doing anyway.

Obama has to watch his standing with African American churches, many of whom are vehemently anti-gay. This is a major problem the African American community has to handle. Obama can't resolve anything there and shouldn't waste his time trying to convert anyone. He is right not to get mixed up in their foolishness. He's got a bigger battle to win.

I am satisfied that he as a person has no problem around gay people and hopefully will be more inclusive with his choices for government positions.

Hillary does take the gay vote for granted. She knows how much the lesbians love her but she would throw them to the Christians if she thought she'd get elected. We all know that.

I'm more concerned that we cleanse the House and Senate of Repugs and bring back a government that works for everyone rather than no one. Then we can get back on track with getting our rights solidified.

He can't ask his rich friends to stop the use of their pda's and cell phones on the course, especially after he's made such a mess of their hefty portfolios, so he gives up golf to prevent photos of him drunkenly slamming balls and falling off the golf cart from ending up on the front page of the National Enquirer.
