Original article: The Times' timing

It will toughen him up

The NYT doesn't qualify as big media any more. Big Media is CNN, FOX, NBC, MSNBC. They love themselves McCain it seems, or at least they like him better than Hill'y.

They're just probably leaking out this story because someone else was going to do it. It will give McCain a chance to throw his family out there and deny the allegations. It will give him a chance to get these ducks in a row before he actually gets the nomination.

Thank You Hell's Liberal

As one who voted for Nader in 2000 (it didn't matter in California because Gore easily won the state) and took grief from my Dem friends, I thank you for your list. America has no one to blame but themselves because we got George Whore Bush (a name I gave him in 1999 and got plenty of flack over- but now they call him worse) not once but twice..... Get out there people and make sure elections are being run fairly, keep up the fight when there are discrepencies- especially if a Bush family member is involved! If you want Obama to make a difference, keep on his back, demand open doors, demand accountability while we still can.

Was it an Expose or a SmokeScreen?

Was the NYT article about McCon's involvement with this hottie lobbyist a smokescreen? The NYT has protected the Bushes by withholding bad stories about them, pushed out tabloid stories against more progressive candidates, and did everything it could to help lead us into this war. It has tarnished it's reputation to the point it's barely a credible source any more. Who's to say they aren't helping him out?

The most disturbing part about this is that all those big lobbyists helping out McCon are all from big telecommunications companies. Companies who are getting a free ride by this government and who obviously expect to continue the journey as they prop up McCon.

Original article: Renzi won't resign

Maybe He can't afford the COBRA payment

Maybe he just can't afford the COBRA co pay on his insurance.... must be a hefty amount on such good insurance provided by we the taxpayers. Kind of hard to come up with the three month payment when you're paying for lawyers to get you out of a federal indictment.

A Few Shots Over The Bridge

Newtie and GWB's pet Rat Rovie are just lobbing a few shots off the bough in preparation for deployment of the big guns. The big guns will commence firing once there is a Dem Candidate. They can't do much more to Hill'y so it's target practice at Obama. It's like in the Wizard of Oz, when the Wicked Witch sends out the winged monkeys to 'take the steam' out of Dorothy's posse or in Star Wars when Darth Vader dispatches a batallion of drones to capture Luke.

They just want to ruffle us up but not destroy the fun they're having fucking with the American people. The fact that they can live so comfortably within their scaly skin just shows how dispicable and low they are. Aren't these guys the type your Jesus is supposed to send to Hell? I guess this debunks yet another hoax.

Jesus F-ing Christ

Won't these frigging conservatives take responsibility for anything? They bash the 'liberal press' for most of their woes even though the press kisses their asses and is anything but liberal. They point fingers at anyone they can and can hire lawyers and PR companies to clean up their messes. Billionaires like him are part of the problem. THEY need to start paying MORE in taxes so they'll have less money to spend on minions who do their dirty deeds, and less money to manipulate the press. TAX the frigging RICH, take away their loopholes and offshore shelters. MAKE them pay for one payor healthcare, make them fund GAO staffing so we can see where the money is going, put extra fees on their jets, bring back the luxury tax. Take away private financing of elections. Get people elected who will actually work for something positive rather than global domination and empire.

These guys don't stimulate the economy with their tax savings, they spend it to make more money. If they can't get what they want, they fire everyone and move the business to a place where they can get their way. Screw them, they've been screwing us long enough.

She's a Politician

He's a politician. At the end of the day, they'll both know the most important thing is to put a Dem in the White House. If Clinton doesn't get the nomination, it's not because she didn't put up a good fight. It doesn't weaken her position in the party one bit. She can gain even more power by allying herself with Obama if that is ultimately what's needed. She's part of the Clinton team, she won't ally herself without looking out for HRC first though. For her support in the convention, she'll have to get a nice paycheck from Obama. Maybe he'll absorb her debt like the BUSHES did for McCon way back in 2000,when he did his about face and started kissing GWB's behind.

Only Hillary ain't going to have to kiss nothing, she'll probably get Senate Majority Leader after Ted Kennedy steps down, Bill will probably get some kind of cabinet post or high level ambassadorship. The Dems will close the convention with Obama/Edwards (or maybe not if Edwards' isn't needed any more)as the ticket and the Hill and Bill contingency proudly standing by supporting the choice. Then the 'liberal media' pundits O'Reilly and Limbaugh can run footage from the campaign and play up every word said as some kind of convoluted crap, business as usual for them. Turn off Fox, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, CBS and tell everyone you know to stop watching too. These guys have no power if no one watches.

People Need Reminding

Because the major media won't do it, Obama and the Dems running for office need to remind voters/viewers/listeners that McCon was right there with his lips firmly planted on GWB-and-Cheney's cheeks as they sent our troops into death and mayhem.
