Original article: A scary survey for the GOP

skeptical

If people haven't seen this administration for what it is by now, I seriously doubt that they will be motivated to get off their collective apathetic asses and do anything to change it. This is possiblly the most corrupt, unethical administration we have ever had in this country, having more in common with dictatorships than a functioning democracy. It frightens me how easily we allow ourselves to be so easily manipulated by the 'republican echo machine' on any number of issues from stem cell research to the blatant subverting of our own constitution by frauds who wrap themselves in the flag while proclaiming 'christian values' rule this country. I hate to be so skeptical, but this country seems to be on a downward spiral at the hands of the republican party and mainstream America seems to have dozed off on their couches. It is one thing to be angry with this administration, but where is the alternative? The democratic party is worse than useless in the sense that I think many can see the direction we are heading, but their 'leadership' is too spineless to really speak out about it. I feel very frustrated that we don't have a REAL alternative party with a realistic chance of getting elected. Hopefully in november the american people (at least the few who will bother to vote) will surprise us and throw these corporate/ivy league/elitist/pseudo christian/neocons out of office. But I doubt it.

par for the course!

this administration has got to be the closest this nation has ever had to a dictatorship. Do they have any integrity at all, or do the ends justify the means at all times? There seems to be nothing they wont stoop to pass their "conservative" agenda. Barry Goldwater must be spinning in his grave

the Bush legacy

A bizarre combination of arrogance, self-righteousness, fanaticism, corruption, and ineptitude that was foisted on a easily manipulated US populace, with help from a complicit mainstream press corp and a spineless congress. It is shamefull to think that this administration is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths (if not millions) and yet will not be held accountable by going on trial for, at the least, willfully deceiving the US citizens at home or at most commiting war crimes abroad.

the party of "family values"

You couldn't write better satire than what has become public since last thursday! The Palin saga continues...can't wait to see what crawls from under the carpet next!

Original article: Lamest Emmys ever?

re:berlet98

Your post is kind of typical of what I have been hearing the last few weeks from conservative talk radio...the baseless allegations that you know are distortions, the inuendo, the (not so) subtle race baiting. Can you give ONE example of his being a 'irrefutable ties to Black nationalists, Black and White terrorists'? Please be specific for a change and dont give vague generalities. It is almost amusing the level the republican cabal has sunk to in their desperation to manipulate the general populace into voting for another Republican regime. Do any of you die-hard 'conservatives' ever have a original thought, or are you once again reciting talking-points from the playlist given to you, or are you simply parroting what you heard on conservative talk radio almost word for word without knowing what the hell you're talking about? At this point it seems inevitable you are going to lose the election...how about showing some integrity. There can be something said for losing with your dignity intact. How about it?

lets be real...

given his administrations behavior these last eight years, does anyone really think that Bush cares about his legacy at this point?

Re:Tinafeyisahag

"I just read an article about the woman who had the late term live baby botched abortion in Florida. She said she was laying there and the baby came out and was gasping and moving and the nurse came up and in front of her cut the umbilical cord and threw the live baby in a bio-hazard bag. She said they never explained to her that the baby would look like a real baby. That it would look human. She said she expected it to look like a blob. But that it was a real, live, human, baby girl being murdered in front of her. She said she left praying to God to help her."

Could you please cite where you read this article so that we can peruse it ourselves, or did you (obviously) just make that up for effect?

nyceast is absolutely right

This is what the Repugnant Party does...they attack, they make wild accusations, they lie, they distort. There is no level they wont sink to in order to get their agenda passed. What is so frustrating is they are so much better at it than the Democraps are. They CONSTANTLY have the Democraps on the defensive. I damn the Repugnantcans for being so unprincipled and vile and the Democraps for being so mealy-mouthed and gutless when it comes to attacking back. Come on Democraps show some spine for once and turn the tables on the Repugnantcans!

Original article: Your vagina is ugly

I think I can speak for many hetero men

when I say when it comes to vaginas, we are not complicated at all. We see pussy we want to eat it or fuck it(or probably both). Period. I don't understand why (some) women are willing to mutilate their own bodies for nothing more than male attention. Any guy shallow enough to be turned off by the sight of your hoo hoo certainly doesn't deserve your time. Move on to someone who appreciates you as you are. There are plenty of us out there.

-to paraphrase Chris Rock - "Theres no such thing as bad pussy!"
