My understanding is that Apple didn't 'drop the price', AT&T 'dropped the price' by subsidizing part of the cost (nice people that they are, you can't say 'no thanks' and just buy the damn thing outright).

It's hard to impossible to know exactly what Apple is charging AT&T for the right to sell the 'half price' phones. I would strongly doubt that Apple would also out of the kindness of their titanium hearts, lower the price of the hottest thing since the 'pet rock' and 'cabbage patch kids' (ironically for many of the same gullible folks that fell victim to those items of fab fame. Anyone remember Simon?)

Most of this is part of the cover-up of what could have been the largest sweeping up and torturing of people that the free world has seen.

I was on an American Airbus 320 out of SJU and I think someone mistook the condensate pouring out of the air conditioner for smoke and screamed 'STOP!!! STOP!!! FIRE!!! FIRE!!!' as the takeoff roll started...

Yeah, we hit the side of the runway and within seconds crash rescue was there as if out of nowhere. We were escorted to a back gate and 'deplaned' and left to the machinations of the airline flight schedules in frantic attempts to get us home.

We went to IAD and then to DTW and had to rent a car to get to LAN. What a story... We got in near 5:30AM. Not bad considering I was joking that spending a few days in SJU for mental health reasons wasn't a bad idea. Just in case... We flew that last leg in a Beech 1900. I didn't care at that point. Just get me home...

All fascist fantasies sold by the Rove & Co. mystique machine to cover over the monumental crimes done to this country.

They did learn from the past. If you shout a lie loud enough and from enough different angles, people believe it. I think the brown shirts and the German Nazi party had that down well.

In Michigan, we are a 'shall carry' state so most people can get a carry permit. I do carry when I'm on my bike and I intend to use it too.

I gave up bike riding around here after having a car load of H-------s literally come within a fraction of an inch of me! I mean that they could have easily reached out and picked my pocket and I'm right handed! I missed their mirror by not even a half inch. And they laughed and taunted me as they approached and passed, yelling obscene bursts of syntax and waving their appendages as if it was ME hogging the road.

IF they were around now and IF they hit me and IF I could reach my gun and get a bead on their car I WOULDN"T HESITATE to waste them, if I could. I had a friend that was side swiped by a dump truck and tossed into a ditch and left for dead. (They survived, barely) and as a result I will not tolerate that shit happening to me or anyone else either.

You don't get a 'bonus' for hitting a bicyclist, you should get LIFE without parole!!! If you kill a biker, you should get the death penalty, no appeal. Biking is for the strong. Take one of us out and pay the ultimate price!

A friend of a friend was joking once about 'bonus points' for 'tagging a biker'. I wasn't laughing. 'Tag' my ass buddy and I'll 'bust a cap on YOURS'! I 'let him have it'. I was the 'crazy gun toting crunchy liberal commie madman' after that but never to my face. :-)
