Almost. I'm hetero and my mom calls ME to vent about her issues and dump all her emotional shit at my door step and won't call the republican spawn and vent to them. Even with issues about THEM! I offered to charge them 'therapy time' for the amount of calls that I take from her in a joking manner.

I love my mom but feel like I'm being dumped on.

I often do other things when I'm talking to her: Work on the computer, reading books and manuals for work, cook, clean, Watch tv. At times I have to scramble to catch up to add the proper words when prompted for a response.

I know it sounds heartless and cruel but I honestly think that if it wasn't for me, she'd probably be dead. She uses me like a therapist. I get all the gossip, all the heart-to-heart and all the stories about what assholes the other spawn are.

They can't see fit to visit and I'm some how expected to visit.

Mr Nascar and Ms mega-bucks. I suggested a vacation for the two and their families to go down and spend time at Disney World and seeing mom (I even offered to help 'offset'some of the expense' and they are too busy being what they are being. 'Not this year' says Mr Nascar. The sister won't return calls or emails. Well, Mr Nascar, how long do you think that mom is going to be around? Uh, she's just turning 75 and, uh, is diabetic and weighs like nearly, or probably over 300 pounds! She ain't got much time left. Yet I am her therapist.

So I quit. For 5 weeks. No calls. No answered calls either. I got fed up. Screw them! They can't be bothered to talk to me, they can't be bothered to talk to her. Mom ended up in the hospital and did a 5 week stint in a rehab house. Did they call? A little.

I've almost had it. We make good money. She hints that she needs 'things'. I don't want to go down that road, the therapy road has burned me out. We vowed to offer or send no money. It's probably wise that we didn't go there.

I went to a family function and sister's 'so(B?)' announces at high volume that 'Here comes the token liberal' and that 'They let anyone in this thing' to which I looked him up and down and said 'Gee, I guess so'...

Up theirs... Soon she will be gone and these ungrateful and bigoted assholes will be left to themselves and their republicanism and Nascar and Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. BAH! Fuck 'em!

Am I pissed? Yeah. Do I have a right to be? I think so, but I love my mom. It's back t therapy sessions (I felt guilty once she got home) but only once every 2 weeks... They need to step in and do their share... (Mr Nascar DID visit recently. Threatened to put mom in 'a home'. Yeah, thanks, asshole. Who dealt with the fallout? Yeah... Thanks... Love you too. NOT!)

In the end of the Bushist Junta, they end up forcing everything to the government. Well, ALMOST everything.

So, the government spins this stuff off. To whom? Ahh...

Either they will create THE government that really DOES own your ass, or they will create the next entity that does.

Remember that Rove took stationary from his candidate's opponent, printed racist and derogatory comments on it and hand delivered them to residents mailboxes in the middle of the night.

Beware of unknown people bearing gifts, especially when the 'gift' smells bad...

Was there anything incriminating in the emails exposed? No. That in itself should make for much pause and contemplation.

Sarah Palin is not one that could be easily accused of being 'subtle'. The idea that her account was hacked and all people found were family pictures and vague references to things reeks of a setup.

Yet another round of headline grabbing, and spun heavily manufactured news. Dripping with irony...
